new JCW front spoiler

Couple of week ago I installed the JCW front spoiler. The installation was quite easy although the installation instruction provides by Mini does not show all necessary steps. Nevertheless I made it
I'm very happy with it. It really adds a much sportier look to the Countryman.

Did a rear wiper delete and other little mods for a total drop of about 20lbs off the car. Shooting correct another 35 lbs off the car in the next week or so. Should put the car just under 3100 lbs.

Okay, apparently I had a lotta catchin' up to do on this thread. Which brought up questions:

1) SCR60- Jackpad blocks?
2) Minnie.the.Moocher: Third light pulsar? I can guess what it does, but where did you get it?
3) Mini_BER: Can you direct me to a thread for the front JCW spoiler install? The price on the piece isn't bad, but I wonder how much is involved.

Thx!

I bought the Pulsar from WayMotorWorks a vendor here, but coincidentally the company isn't all that far from me, could have got it local a bit cheaper and faster. http://coupeconcepts.com/

Installed a serious piece of mind today - A Mercedes compact spare with the Mini wheel adapter and a portable compressor and folding lug wrench. Now that I am running non-run flat Blizzaks for the winter a real spare seemed like a good idea. With how nice this setup fits under the rear floor, I think I may keep it back there even when I go back to my run flats for fair weather.

Those look great.

Up close they look almost painted in the silver metallic. 51132184057

With the stock black scuttles, the white side markers looked out of place. Now they look like they belong together. I have even thought about popping off the lens and continuing the blackjack pattern across the white background of the sidemarker.

I took our CM in to have the initial bonnet to boot service done. To my delight, the SA handed me a goodie bag worth over $250 when I picked up the keys.

Collected my new to me (12 month old) Countryman Cooper SD All4 today, so I got a whole heap of catching up to do !

> checked tire pressures - 2 at 2.4Bar, 2 at 1.5Bar - another example why i don;t trust garages !
> set correct time of the clock
> paired my cell phone

plenty of time to play at the weekend

Way Motor Works turbo heat blanket installed. Noticeably cooler over stock, combined with the DEI titanium exhaust wrap it doesn't seem to get too hot under the hood now.

Not today, but a couple days ago built and ordered my Countryman. Should be an early February delivery. ALL4 model, not many fancy options, just JCW stuff, comfort access and a flat load floor.

Today I ordered my roof box (Yakima Skybox Pro 16) and the OEM mounts.
