R60 What's this lens called and can I get a clear/white one?
Things coming down the line for the exterior are...the front JCW splitter (which was supposed to come in last Wednesday but since having a baby last Tuesday, I kind of forgot about that), all gloss black wrapped rings and belt line, black door handle covers and black 4" exhaust tips.
By the way - thanks for the advice.
I am wrapping them in gloss black. Well Im not wrapping them but Lyle from Vinyl Styles is doing it for me. Hopefully in another week or so I will have them. I know right now he is on the Gold Rush rally, so we will see. Damn if I knew he was part of that rally, I would have had him bring them with him and I could have met him in Tampa or Miami. LOL!!! Plus he is doing orange "S" logos for me to inlay as well.
Federal mandate. The scuttle is a side marker(illuminates). The lower lens is just a reflector. These are sometimes(older crowd) referred to as a Banana Light.
*designed for safety. before headlights were 'wrapped around' the corners, front end lights were flush(think 70-90's cars). When you pulled out into traffic(driveway, side street, etc) The car profile was not reflective or illuminated & could be hit(not noticed at night)
Pre-85 mandate for the 3rd brake light.
I/m sure there will be aftermarket options avail soon in White/Red/Smoked
If you cant wait, try VHT brand Night Shades. its a spray paint type coating for lens.
Wet sand any lettering, apply 3-5 coats of chosen color & then 2-4 coats of clear. The clear really helps it 'gloss up' and also prevents fading from wear/UV.

Has anyone tried to cover the reflectors with plasti-dip? It would seem to perfectly match the texture and color of the trim over the wheel well. And you'd be able to cover the reflector entirely. Also, as an added bonus, it can be easily removed if a cop stops you.
