Ok, so I had a dream last night that I got my CMS. Only it was totally the wrong color! And the weird thing was that it was shipped directly to my house and it was wrapped. So I didn't know what color it was until after I unwrapped it and at that time the dealer and shipper had already left my house.

No offense to the Pure Red's out there, but I ordered Surf Blue and when I unwrapped a Pure Red it was pure torture!
Another odd fact was that the car seemed huge and it had giant tires! It wouldn't even fit in my garage! Now, I know exactly where all this is coming from. I had looked at Pure Red pics before going to bed, researched tires, and read a post from someone saying the Countryman was bigger than they had expected. So it all kind of makes sense, but what a strange dream!!

We had to call and tell them we had gotten the wrong color and I guess in the meantime, I got to keep the Pure Red until my Surf Blue came in. So I settled up in the huge beastly Countryman and played with all the ***** and buttons and was having fun with Mini Connected when my alarm went off.


My ACTUAL CMS is currently in the body shop with an estimated (by Ask Mini computer voice) completion date of Feb 7, but when I spoke to a real person she said it may be a few days after that. And to allow for weekends. Obviously. But she was very nice!
Although I can't wait to have MiniMe in my driveway, I am enjoying the process!

 

yea once you have your countryman for a few weeks you forget all about that wait. i love when i dream it has snowed here in alabama and i get out in my 300hp jcw countryman-s and have a blast! poeple are soooo jealous and have to walk around cause they cannot drive! dreams about mini's are always good ones

 

Oh, I just can't wait to get the looks!

 

OK, so someone has to say it: Sounds more like a MINI nightmare. Dreams often tell you what you are really thinking. PR is a present you can give to yourself. Is it too late to set things right?

I just want my MINI in my driveway! I'm already outfitting it and reading the OM. I'm going to have to stop or I'm going to drive myself crazy!

 

Thinking about it everyday makes time go extremely slow, maybe you should find something else to keep you busy, then you will find it's easy to kill the waiting time.

 

phew Pure Red is cool, waking up to a puke yellow with white roof and wheels would have been a real nightmare.
