I'd get some of those bad babies, if I weren't an American who prefers ugly, messy and cheap.

Actually, if that is a premium 3M Scotchcal film known as "Delux Silver" it is not cheap at all. As a matter of fact if that is what actually it is, it is a very expensive material. Being in the graphics business 20 years I'm just sayin.

I considered taking it down both the front and back bumpers but it seemed too busy with this stripe, but I do like it with others. I passed on the side stripes too, but I might go back and add those later.

I know it was 3M but have no clue whether it was the 'good stuff' or not.

I'm sorry, but my post was tongue-in-cheek. I was, simply, trying to get across that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. (I don't care for them, but feel that they were presented as one of several supreme example of what constitutes "tastefulness".)

The OP asked what folks thought of the boot stripes, and another poster called them "ugly, messy, and cheap"...a wee bit much for an honest *opinion*.

Why is that to much for an honest opinion, it's what he wanted.

As most of our mothers used to say, if you haven't got anything good to say, don't say anything. Having said that, I like them!

That's a good lookin' Mini you got there!
Are you saying you ordered boot stripes on your car? I don't see anywhere on the miniusa configurator where you can order boot stripes. Am I missing something?
