Another ipod cable option

The pre-owned All4 I bought last Thursday came with Mini Connected but no iPod cable. After reading some of the posts here, I went to Best Buy today to look for the Pioneer cable that was mentioned.
They didn't have that one, but they did have a Kenwood KCA-iP22F for $29.99.
I just hooked it up, and it appears to be fully functional with my 3rd-generation Nano, including displaying album art on the nav screen.

Look for the bands on the mini plug. If you have 4 contacts (tip + 3 bands), you're doing good. How's the rest of your connected working?

Q: "How's the rest of my Connected working?"

Well, I don't have an iPhone...
Otherwise, the nav works well, my Android phone connected via bluetooth on the first try, and I like the integration with the H-K radio.

it should have come with the cable. I'd ask for one.

And either get an iPhone or at least iPod touch.
