Should be available soon from http:///www.colgancustom.com/. They used mine last month to design their prototype for the CM. Love it.

Ive been searching all over the internet for a bra/bro for the CM to no luck as well. Colgan has nothing on their site for us :( It seems like there is a small market for this product between the two of us tho

I'm good for one when Colgan offers it.

There is one negative with a clear bra and that's if you ever get a hard crunch or accident. It can be a pain to deal with and you have to take it off to repair the damaged area, other than that they are good and I had one on my last car.

I've actually been thinking of getting a few cans of clear Plastidip and spraying mine on. It actually protects the paint and whatever else is underneath and you can peel it off later if you want.

You can remove a clear bra as well. And to be honest, if you crunch the front end, the clear bra will be minor. Just take it off, fix whatever damage there is, repaint, new clear bra, and you'd be good to go.

To be honest, I can't think of the last time I saw one of the old school leather / vinyl bras on a car.

I like the idea of the clear bra things and most I've seen are pretty invisible unless close up and because of the protection aspect of them. Never understood the draw to the old school bra myself. I can't understand "protecting" something by covering it up with something ugly and awkward like that. I mean might as well cover up the whole car in a body bra if that's the mindset. Unless it's for some lease thing that you are worried about getting charged for nicks and pebble marks. Honestly I'd take a few dings and rock bumps over having sand, dirt, moisture and funky stuff that build up in those old school bras and probably do more damage overtime then leaving it naked. I bought a used car when I was a kid that had one of those things on and when I took it off the nose of the car looked like it has been through war. Esp up here in Boston where rust is like a virus. Though with the over dozen cars I've had in my life I never really had an issue with front end damage/protection needs without one. Maybe I've just been lucky (and maybe I just jinxed myself)

I scraped a clear bra front end on a cedar fence... the CB worked perfect and took all the damage- had the damaged CB replaced for $300... would have been $2k to have the front end repainted.... Im sold.... dealer is gonna install on the MCS for $700 when she comes in...

^^How thick is a clear bra? It seems so thin to really take the brunt of hard hits like that.
