I'm gonna put mud flaps on my right away (along with a clear bra). It'll cut down on stone chips on the doors greatly. As far as the clear bra, when we bought the Lexus it got several stone chips right away, I had the clear bra put on and in 4 years the front end looks perfect....except for the few chips that it got before the bra.

 

I ordered the mud flaps on line for just less than $100 and put them on myself. Not too hard but did take a little effort and you have to remove the rear tire. The look is fine, looks like part of the fender, in fact, I think they make the car look better and my wife agreed (plus it is her car).

The Owner's Lounge updated this morning, with an expected "to the dealer" date of 11 November! I'm hoping, like crazy, that I can pick up our Pure Red ALL4 baby, on Saturday!

is that confirmed or just a guess? I have not heard that officially as of yet. Neil (MA) said that he thought it would be in on Tuesday or Wednesday last time we chatted.

 

So I have some bad news. My MA Neil said it was going to be here Tues or Wed so i figured it was this week. I just got off the OL and saw my estimated delivery date was the 13th of November!!! Nooooooo, I cant wait any longer! Since its only an estimate, maybe it will get here sooner! I dont understand why it would take so long to go thru the vdc and get on a truck to come unless my mini was damaged! Ahhhhhh!!!!

 

MA just emailed me and said my Mini went on a truck today and I should have it Thursday or Friday...Yahoo!

Simma down now! That is just an estimate. I still think we will get ours either Tuesday or Wednesday. MA will be back tomorrow so I am sure he will have a solid date to give us. Tell Neil I kept you from losing it. ;-)

 

Yep, the OL says the 12th for me but my MA says the 10th or 11th. Either way, your within a week which seems like tomorrow compared to how long we have waited.

 

haha I will make sure i let neil know. We should atleast get our MINIs before Sardian because he lives in Alabama. Thats a whole state over from us. No offense Sardian. I'm just saying! It should atleast be this week that we recieve our MINIs.

I told my MA I was bringing a tent and camping in their parking lot until my Mini gets here. He thinks I'm crazy and said I was the most enthusiastic customer he has had. For my efforts he said he is going to have a huge photo of me made and have it installed over their main Mini sigh over the front entrance :-)
