@iMom2005, Its really hard to be patient when you want your MINI now. It was hard for me, but being on this forum has helped alot. Is this your first MINI?

I know what you mean. I have 3 other cars so I don't need transportation, but I am finding myself waving at other Mini drivers while driving my 4-Runner and Lexus. I guess they think I'm crazy

It is my first Mini. I have wanted a Mini so badly, but I'm a middle-aged, single parent of a wee one, still riding in a booster seat. The Cooper S, as badly as I wanted one, just wasn't going to cut it.

When I first saw the CM, I knew I had to have it!

Nice its my first MINI too. There's actually alot of middle-aged men and women who drive MINI's. There's actually a thread on it, but im not sure where its located. I'm 23 and very excited to be owning my first MINI. I'm so proud.

This is my first Mini and I have loved the Minis from day one of their U.S. return. I just didn't want another two door car and wanted just a tad bit more room. When I saw the cm was going to be built I knew this would be the car for me. Everything I need and want. Tons of personality, room for my stuff and friends, great gas mileage, and drives like a sports car. Plus I always wanted a red suv and that is not something easy to find.

I love the chili red on the hardtops but the pure red has a lot more orange to it. I have seen it at times and loved it but other times it sure does look orange.

iMOM2005, that sound like my story. I always wanted a hard top but couldn't fit it in my lifestyle. On a trip to Atlanta I saw a Countryman (didn't know they existed at the time) and said "WOW!! A 4 DOOR MINI!!!" (I actually took a picture of the one I saw in Atlanta sitting in the hotel parking lot, it was a Pure Red Justa). On our way home I stopped by the Mini dealer in B'ham and drove 2, a Justa and S. The rest is history.

Let me tell all of you that it is definitely worth the wait! I ordered my Countryman 08/25/11 and I got it 10/28/11. I have had "Miss Daisy" for a week. I have owned many many cars, because being a realtor you are expected to drive a nice car (at least in CA) but I have never had such a fine car as my CountrymanS. I know what you are all going through, the end is the hardest. I hope you all love your cars like I love mine!

While sipping my first cup of coffee, at 6:00AM, I watched the tugs nudging the Aida toward the dock in Baltimore (thanks to marinetraffic.com).

Now for my Pure Red CMSA to get a set of bonnet stripes, then start his journey to Indiana.

Oh, if only patience were one of my stronger virtues.

Nice iMom2005.
Just found out that my mini is a Priority one sold unit so it should be up to atlanta fairly quickly if it doesnt have damaged. Keep finger crossed.
@soocy, i bet the wait is worth it. I can't wait till it gets to my dealership. I know ill love it. Honestly tho, the wait wasnt too bad. I ordered my countryman oct 1 and now its almost to my dealership. Should be ready come this week!

Tdoleman333 and Bmtespar, I'm on the east side of Atlanta and got my CMS 9/24. We do not see many on the road around here yet.

I'm in Decatur and have seen two or three running around. How is yours handling Atlanta's roads with the run flats?

Light White....sounds like the folks in Atlanta have good taste ;-)

I hope I get mine next week. My MA said he'll be seeing me next week but I think he is dreaming like me.

I am willing to bet you'll get yours next week as well. You are only like 2 hours from ATL and if we get ours on Tuesday or Wefnesday then it makes since you'll get yours the following day if not the same.

Tires make a lot of noise on some of the old interstates, better on smooth asphalt. You can feel all of the bumps and your 18s will be worse than my 17s but not much worse than the low profiles on my CX9. I'm not thinking about changing them because they are not that bad. Get some mud flaps, they should have been standard.

My MA emailed me, yesterday, to let me know that my MINI was at the Port of Baltimore, but I already knew that, since I was tracking the Aida into port.
They'll put the bonnet stripes on him, then its off to Indiana. I hope to see my MINI, perhaps, by Saturday...but we'll see how that works out.

Patience...patience...patience.

Tell me more about why you think I should get mud flaps.

I drove my light white for about a week without mud flaps and the splash on the front doors was awful even with just a light rain. The tires stick out from the fenders just a little, but just enough to be a problem.

Hmmmm. How much did you pay for them if I may ask? I saw the thread about them and saw a lot people thought they were a good idea. Does it take away from the lines of the car? I have seen some mud flaps that looked great on some cars and awful on others.
