The MA who confiscated the MINI-Tober certificate may have some confusion with the currently running deal BMW Mission to Drive - offering up to $2500 credit, but only if the car is leased or financed through BMW. That offer also expires 1/3/12.

So many MINI locations are BMW add-ons...

Did anyone get an E-mail from there MA or mini dealer about the Moto-tober event? I went in on the 5th of Oct and never recived anything not even a phone call about it. I know my car will be here before Jan-3. I may try and play hard ball with them and see what they can do, it irritate's me every time I see this thread.

same happened to me i.e., never got my certificate...my SM told me not to worry he would honor it and i said i wont worry if he sends me an email confirming this. he did, so i have not worried since. get an email from the dealer confirming the additional 750 off your car. i assume that you registered at the event which i did, if you didnt register at the event and just showed up, then it may be more difficult.

Well I talked to that sales manager at Shomp and he said he would take the $750 off the car. Our original MA quit, Go figure. My car should be here Mid Dec. AWESOME!

My dealer's Motor-tober event was on 10/29. I registered at the event and received my $750 certificate via main TODAY. It does take some time. Note that if you registered at your dealer's event, your dealer will be sent notification of your certificate number. I guess this helps stem fraud.

Check with your dealer's certificate listing if you registered but have not yet received your documents via email.

If I'm out of town on Motor Tober day but I could swing by another dealership (where I'm traveling) and bring the coupon home, I wonder if they'd honor it. Thoughts?

Yes, you can register at any dealer and use the coupon at any dealer....they email it to you.......and you are about a year behind on this thread

I did this for the Not Normal Sales event. Went to a dealer with an earlier event. My car came in a week later, used the $750 voucher before my dealer event. Side note. He tried to get away not honoring by showing me the factory memo about cars ordered before Oct 1, with priority 1 status. And some other excuse about my $1000 USAA discount. I asked for my deposit back. He came back 10 min later and accepted everything. He also tried to get me for $95 wheel locks. I told him to take them off. I had to negotiate twice.

Yes I know. I meant to post in the 2013 thread. Not a year late, just writing in the wrong place.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
