R60 Official Absolute Black Owners Club
Ok that's what I thought, after I looked at it again. That would be so cool to see a countryman that low. Love the rims you got.

Hey fellow Countryman, just wanted to introduce myself. Love all the pics and inspiration since mine is still somewhere at sea. Thanks to you guys I already have mud flaps and a black out belt line kit waiting for install, with caliper paint on the way. Keep up the inspirational pics for those of us still waiting. Happy motoring all!

Go Absolute Black!
Thanks bentyyc, excited to be part of the Club. She should be on the Harmony Leader expected 7/21 at Huaname. Thanks to you guys, this thread, as well as the other great info on here, my living room is stacked with "to-do" mods. It's a secret for now, but you guys will get a peek soon.

The car im considering is about to get on a boat - any thoughts on the option list below would be great - btw - I hate the odea of getting an auto but have a bad leg, so i dont have the option.
2012 Cooper S Countryman ALL4
Couple of questions that I hope you guys could help with:
- Does anyone have any basis for comparison between a standard MCS and a R60 S All4?
- What is the consensus on the pure red interior?

Our car is identical to this, except we have the sport package, manual trans, auto wipers and headlights, piano black trim, the chrome line exterior rather than interior, leatherette, and we don't have the red color line.
If you have not test driven a CMSA4, you really should, and push it hard. We previously had an R53 that we put 150k miles on. We have 1500 miles on the CMSA4, and while we are very happy with it, as it's heavier there's no question it does not have the level of go kart handling the R53 did, and the clutch and shifter are not as sporty (which won't apply to you). But I've driven plenty of other small SUV's, and the CM is the most entertaining drive of them all, and that's without the optional sports suspension. We loved the R53, but my GF needed something with more room for her business use of the car, and the all wheel drive will unquestionably be a huge plus for our ski trips to northern New England.
We would have ordered our car with the seats that are on the car you are considering, but we disliked the red color line that is a mandatory option with those seats. We like the color of the seats, but felt the red color line had too much orange in it. Of course, that's subjective.

Shark - thanks so much for the great response (I continue to love this forum).
Good insight on the Orange-ish color - I haven't seen one in person, so that's a big concern and hard to tell from the photos. Does the pure red fabric part of the seat look ok? - I know that it's cooler and maybe more comfortable, but I typically stay with leather for protection from spills, kids, dogs, etc.

Pure Red interior
As far as the Pure Red color line I would have to agree it's more Tomato Red, leaning towards orange rather than a Chili or pure red look. I have it and people love it when the doors are opened.
Well fellow Countryman, here she is. With a few mods within hours of her arrival. Thanks to all of you for the wonderful knowledge on this site and cheers to those still waiting on their baby. It's well worth the wait.
Dave, if you are not able see one in person, R604U2C's photos are as color accurate as any I've seen. As colors always are, it's a matter of personal preference.
And R60U2C, congrats!

Finally getting around to this
I picked up Bruce on Cinco de Mayo, and am just getting around to updating here. I traded in my 2009 pepper white Clubman, and am SO glad I did.
2012 Justa CM, absolute black, white top, white bonnet stripes, premium package, and those black rims just seal the deal!
