First, congrats to all the new 2012 owners! Seems like many of us are getting our CMs over the next couple of weeks I hope to be in mine by next weekend...

I'm really curious if the "chrome trim issue" many people mentioned in other posts has been addressed?

From all the posts in NAM, this was a real problem for many 2011 CMs. I sure hope that the engineers have solved it....

How are the new CM owners doing out there?

No permanent fix yet. Just more of the same. The issue seems to be a result of the japan tsunami and having to switch manufacturers. Pre march '11 models seem to be just fine, including mine.

Heat also seems to be a factor.

 

My countryman was built June 2011 and delivered in July. So far the chrome tapes are intact. I hope I didn't just jinxed myself knock on wood.
