Mine still isn't showing up as booked, but Ask MINI still sees my VIN as invalid and from looking at some other threads there have been some instances where vehicles don't show up as booked until a few days into the voyage, so I still have some hope that mine might be on the Elektra.

How long has your CM been at the port? Mine was sitting there 13 days before it got on the ship yesterday. The OL still shows it as awaiting transport, but when I put the VIN in the track and trace function on the WWL website, it showed up as loaded onto the vessel yesterday. My MA doesn't seem to know anything, as he's been telling me the car will be available for delivery first week of Oct, which would mean I'd have to swim out to the middle of the Atlantic to take delivery.

According to Ask-MINI mine arrived at the port on the 23rd. Not happy to hear that yours sat there for two weeks, but not much I can do about it if I'm in the same situation.

If your Mini is bound for Port Hueneme it will never show up in the track and trace section. For some reason the PH bound vehicles do not get reported by ww.

I don't think Ask Mini uses the VIN number anymore. Mine also says it is invalid but it isn't. Only the production order number works with Ask Mini.

If your Mini is on the boat, in a few days Ask Mini and Owners Lounge will report En Route.

Mine will be processed through the Brunswick, GA VDC. At this point I'll just have to be as patient as possible. My MA isn't very proactive in keeping me informed, but I usually check in once every couple of weeks to see if he's got any news. When I spoke with him a few days ago he said it was at the port, but didn't have any additional information.

I also noticed that a K-Line ship departed Bremerhaven today. It actually gets into Brunswick 9 days earlier than the Elektra. Crossing my fingers I'm on that one.

and it appears to me, unless others know differently, that ships only leave 1x per week from Bremmerhaven, with the next scheduled to depart on 10/5...

You can only guess at this point. Check the schedules and see what ship you think it's going to be on and then track the ship. Ours was finished on August 19th, it waited at port until August 31st and we took delivery on Sept 23. You need to be patient. It will get to where you are when it gets there. We were delayed by two days due to Hurricane Irene.

That's not entirely true because my Mini did show up in the track and trace. I entered it by Vin and it came up. I was then able to look at it by B of L number and was able to see the other 198 mini vin numbers that were on that ship. This happened just a week or so ago. My ship is now approaching the Panama Canal and up the coast to PH.

So how can I track my car, it should be on a ship now or very soon coming into southern Cal. It was done and at the port in Germany 2 weeks ago. Some people say you can't track it for the west cost and some say you can. I have tried most of the listed links and no luck! (I do have the vin#)

You may be right. My bust. My car is a Coupe not a CM so therein lies the rub. Your MA can't tell you??

He or she should be able to find that out. But short of them telling you I am CM stupid. Probably should have kept my keyboard shut. Sorry if I gave you false hope.

Actually, being on the East Coast will shave two weeks off your delivery. It takes 8 days to Jersey City and 21 days to CA.

Mine just left Southampton (and I mean just, like an hour ago) and it's showing up on marinetraffic.com. My understanding is that once it gets away from land it disappears and doesn't show up again until it gets close to Panama.

Mine is waiting at the port too, according to Ask Mini this morning. It'll be headed to the port in Georgia.

Mine is coming to Port Hueneme on the 19th of Oct. and I can't find it by VIN# but I think it is on the Asian King as that ship is due at PH on the 19th. This is so crazy that some can find their car by Vin# and some can't. Maybe the PH thing above is correct, you can't find the ones coming to Port Hueneme. Mine was waiting for a ship for 3 weeks according to the OL.

Sometimes "1"s look like "I"s or vice versa. Or Zeros look like "O"s. The VIN is a combo of letters and numbers and in many cases numbers are interspersed in with the letters.

I had the same problem when I was tracking my 2012 CM. After some digging I found out that it was the Port Hueneme system that is not compatible with the 2Wglobal tracking web site. So, you just have to be patient and watch for the ship on the marinetraffic.com web site.

My Mini is now at Port Hueneme. I stopped in the dealership today and they said 4 or 5 more days but they would look it up again on the computer later today and call me. For those that are waiting. The biggest hold up was waiting for a ship. It was in that stage for almost 3 weeks. Today is 10/22. I ordered it on8/25.
