I was afraid I would be the oldest, but it appears that there are a few older than me. I'm 60 but people tell me I don't look a day older than 59. Just got my R60 in June and wife has an '07 R56. We ARE a two MINI family.
This is my first mini. I am 40, my wife is 36. My mini was put on the ship on my birthday so it was kinda a birthday present. I have had Max for almost 4 months. I am enjoying it.
I'm 51. But my CM makes me feel younger. I haven't felt this connected to driving in 30 years. I sold a Buick Lucerne before getting my CM. Haven't stopped smiling since.
42 and ALL4, before that R53 at 35 and way before that an original MINI as a second car when I was 25 (daily driver was Renault Clio 16v - fun car but I liked driving the mini more)
I expect to be driving MINIs for a good while and look forward to handing them down to my kids and becoming a multi MINI family
It's time to raise the average a bit. I'm 79, and at the time I bought my MINI (last year) I asked my advisor if I was the oldest person he had sold to. He said, "On no, I sold 2 of them to a husband and wife team who are older than you." Later I had an opportunity to meet them since they reside in my area - he's 86 and she is 85. Though, I don't imagine they waste their time on forums.

Both my wife and I are 50 but we really ordered our 2012 S for our 18 month old dog...so, either the age at which we bought our CM is 50 or 10.5 (assuming 1 yr = 7 dog years).

For me (52, F) it seemed more sophisticated than my other options in this size class (Nissan Juke or Kia Soul), and had better features (like the ALL4). Oh, and much more comfortable for an aging chick with a bad back. ;-) Am I too old for a MINI? Miniskirt, yes; MINI car, absolutely not!!!
The sport seats make bad backs feel great again!!!! 55 with a fracture in the thoracic spine that will not heal. The only car in it's class that had good seats all the others killed me.
