Seriously, how many 20-somethings can afford to buy a brand new MINI CM?.. I'm not surprised the average is 40-something. I'm 50-something, but feel like 20-something
Now I feel like a young'n. Though I do agree with the point that not many 20-somethings can afford the sticker price on Countryman, and there aren't really any used Countryman out there yet, so there's no other way to get one on the cheap.
I'm 54. 2011 Countryman S is my first MINI. I'd never before noticed how many MINIs there are on the roads. BUT I've only seen one other Countryman here (Houston, TX). It was being driven by a woman who couldn't have been more than 25 or so, with 2 crumbsnatchers on board.
We win the prize! I just turned 72 and my wife is 66. We are on our third Mini since we bought our first one in 2007. That was a Sidewalk conv, we than traded that in for a coupe and recently took delivery of a Pure Red Countryman. All S models and all three have been driven by over 120mph. What a blast!!
Damn and I was hoping this forum would be full of 19 year old blonde girls fresh out of high school driving the MINI their dad got them for graduation.
Time to sell and buy a mazda3.
(Please note, my post is laced with sarcasm. Not that I wouldnt mind a forum of 19 yr old blondes, but generally those arent forums so much as **** sites.)
Also,
Looks like I am the youngest one in this thread, 21 almost 22.
