SS pedals on base model

The website says they are standard, the one I test drove had them, the one my dealer found for me does not. Anyone with a 2011 base have the stainless steel? The dealer says they aren't standard. Any chance the website reflects a change between 2011 and 2012?

Our MY11 base does not have SS pedals.

Odd, I called customer service at mini today. They confirmed that what was on the website was still 2011 info, and that they were listed as standard on the base model. He only suggested that I talk to the sales manager at my dealership, couldn't really do anything more?

Anyone know if these get installed by the dealer during final prep, or come already on the car?

I didn't think the SS pedals were standard on any non-S models? My current justaCooper doesn't have them and the CM I test drove didn't have them either....

None on my '09 justa. Put a set on last week. Piece-of-cake! Got em from mini of south Atlanta. ~$200. One screw and a plug on the gas. Brake, slip the old one off and new one on - hands only on tools. Dead pedal was a little fiddley, snaps off and new one snaps on but getting the old one off was slightly challenging for a first-timer; could do it again in just a few minutes with minimal swearing.

At the time I posted, they were listed as standard on the justa. I ended up getting mine, the dealer put them on and said mini paid for it. It was right on the mini usa website under features. I don't think I would have noticed it except the one I test drove had them. From what I've heard since, that was a rare bird.
