On another thread, I mentioned my install of the SprintBooster on my MINI. I wanted to give it a week or so of driving around before I started a thread to really talk about it.



The install was ridiculously easy. While I still don't have hard facts to back up my claims (I'm working on some data gathering, but haven't had a chance to make some runs) day to day driving feels a lot more responsive than it used to be. Keeping the MINI in non-Sport mode and the SB in sport-mode, the car responds more like it should. I have had to modify my acceleration style, with the SB things are slightly more sensitive.

Overall, I think it's doing what its supposed to, and I like having it installed.

Nice writeup. I wonder if it will make a bigger difference getting off the line in a manual. So it is additive to what Sport Mode does?
