Ours is for sale. It is at the stealership right now for the recall, and I really hope they can fix all the squeaks & rattles, as I don't want to inflict them on the next owner.

PM me if you are interested in buying it. 24k miles, $27.5k. Has an extra set of rims with snow tires on.

Yes

Yes.

The only thing close enough would have been the upcoming Subaru Crosstrek because of the price, but they're built like crap. I don't mean they aren't well-built, just that their done with very cheap materials and are noisy tin-cans with AWD (very good AWD) but I'd rather pay the premium.

The seats, alone, in the CM are much better and the heated seats (gotta have 'em) are awful in the Subs. I could go on, but there isn't much in the market to compare the CM with. All these comparos with a Juke just seem silly, could be me, but they're apples/oranges.

Sorry to hear your experience with your CMS All4 was not a great one to the point you are selling it.

What are you considering replacing it with? I too have a '11 CMS All 4 manual which has 9K miles on it. I bought it used and so far so good. Toes and fingers crossed. I am wondering if I will be experiencing the same thing in the near future. In the mean time, I am enjoying the ride and love my MINI.

Replacing it with a '64 Classic Mini.

Only 500 miles in - but yes I would.

Likes:
* "s" model. Didn't originally think to purchase this, was just going for the base - but after test driving the S it was clear it had much more pep and zip. The base model lagged when I stomped it - so "s" it was.
* cup holders - surprisingly. They hold my drinks in a snug way. In my Jeep my cup holder base was so large that EVERY drink I had would tip over when I would take a regular turn. Such a pain drink all over the floor (and sometimes me). No complaints with them so far.
* Lack of sunroof. My Jeep's sunroof leaked so bad I finally had it welded shut. Didn't want to deal with that again. Also didn't want to deal with the heat and the weight and rattles (potentially) of a sunroof so glad we passed that up.
* heated seats. These really should be standard as far as I'm concerned. Feels great on my back on longer drives too.
* base radio. No complaints - sounds great.
* Driving lights. Bought these for fun but what do you know - they ended up being useful too.
* Bench rear seat. Perfect for my dog and easy to put groceries etc. in the back as I'm used to doing.
* Interior lights - these are just plain fun.
* Seats - maybe it's my height etc. but they're super comfy to me.
* Glad I didn't get Nav since I use my iPhone 4s for all of this kind of stuff. I have yet to need to get somewhere and have my nav app not do a perfectly good job. Also mini connect - it sounded cool, but was too much money for what it is. I preferred to spend my bonus dollars on the "s" upgrade.

Not Sure:
* Satellite radio. Luckily this was free but I'm not as in love with it as I thought I might be. It's okay - but honestly I mostly listen to my iPod through aux most of the time.
* run flats - more road feel then I'm used to, but not horrible.
* passenger side mirror. I can't get the angle right - I think I just need to manually adjust this though so not a huge deal.

Compared to my old Jeep 4 wheel drive V8 - my Mini is 1000 time more fun to drive. It's nimble and peppy and seems to have the same amount of power - probably due to it being a much lighter vehicle then the Jeep. So far I've driven it on the highway (short road trip) and a ton of city driving and it's been fun to drive in both situations. I'll have to update in 3 then 6 months to see if I stay as in love as I am now. No car is 100% perfect - but this is the most fun I've ever had driving and actually makes my time in my car enjoyable. Can't ask for more then that.

I love the idea of this car. Unfortunately there are too many serious problems that MINI is sweeping under the rug. I'm now in a lemon situation, and there is very little chance of a replacement rather than buy out at this point. Shame on MINI USA. Seems that class action lawsuits are the only way to make head way.
