OMGosh, waiting is so nerve wracking!

 

Don't give up hope yet my fellow obsessors!!!! Rupert isn't showing up either, but the WW site doesn't usually update until a good 12 to 24 hours later from what I've seen! There is still a chance!!! Keep the faith that this is our boat and a short 15-20 days from now we will see it hitting land in the good Ol U S of A!!

 

What is this "WW site" people keep mentioning, where you can see which ship its on!!??

I ordered my Countryman All4 on 1/20 and it is finally in production today! Was so excited, I had to post!

 

but..but.. it's easier to be a pessimist and be pleasantly surprised!

I keep freaking out that my car keys aren't on their hook... I need to fill that space with another MINI key!

 

Congrats!! We ordered on 1/21 and mine is scheduled to be completed on Feb. 2nd. Woohoo!

I just got my VIN tonight! Estimate completion date is Feb 7th and then from there the even more maddening wait for a ship and sail time. Knowing that my CMS is just sitting waiting for me to drive her... *Squeeeeeeee* I'm so excited!
This is my first car to ever order and my husband laughs at me every time I get an update because I get SO excited!

 

Haha! Me too! I never thought I'd ever order a car! It's still crazy for me to say!!! I was running around work today singing "Rupert gets on a boat today... Rupert gets on a boat today" Haha Well I don't know for sure he's on it, but it sounded good because I'm just so stinking excited!!! Knowing he's built and waiting has definitely made it harder!!!

I actually haven't told many that I've ordered a Mini yet. A few know but I'm keeping my car a surprise until it gets here!
And yea, once my CMS is built its going to be that much harder knowing she's sitting there trying to get to me!

 

It's weird, I haven't either! I just feel awkward telling people I ordered a car! My work guys and I are very close. They are my family, so they get in on the secret! I had to tell someone!!! If I were to totally keep it to myself I would have burst!!! I am glad to have this site to be excited with me, because they really aren't feeling it! Both my Husband and my "work Husband" think I'm crazy! Haha!! (They might be mostly right!!!) I just tell them don't hate because when Rupert comes they will be begging for me to bring them with!!!

 

My CM finally hit production today!

 

Also NEWS UPDATE: the TORONTO is showing RED on the WW site meaning it has DEPARTED!!! AHHHHHH!!! Lets hope when they finally get all the VIN's in the system ours are there!!!!!

Oh, I know! Same here. They don't need to know I ordered a car. I've just told a couple and one wants to drive it when I get it, but I've already told him, no chance!

 

Haha! I know! Really I'm harping about this car for two months tracking its every move and I'm just going to pick it up and hand out the keys?! <snort> I'm all for sharing, but let me get in my fix first!! Not to mention the people making fun of him now will get to sit in the Boot for the test drive!!

I just obsessively checked the site again. I think maybe hopefully I'm on the Toronto. If so, that's a stupid close cutoff since you were SO CLOSE on the production line!

 

I'm pretty sure my Mini isn't either..... I think I am going to cry. I ordered him in november and now he won't be here until March and I have to drop another $1K on my stupid Volvo because it's broken AGAIN.

 

Mini was discharged in Port of NY. VDC then on to dealer. I hope to pick it up next week!!

if you are waiting for a boat... my vin took a day or so to post on wwl. I checked with openend search to see if any vin showed up. I also saw that Vin's close to mine left on the boat a week before. so I was pretty sure i was going to be on the tortugas. (i even tracked it into Bremerheavan before my mini was on it)
