Our boats schedules will be a little different because you all are north east (and the one Cali guy gets hosed) but I'm hoping to get on a boat leaving the 25th or 26th because if he doesn't the next boat isn't until the 1st!

The home stretch is going to be the hardest part, but this is where it all seems to be a reality!!!

Yay!!!
Glad you're up on the news and are willing to share. I feel so far behind!

It IS a bit fun how similar our cars are... Mine will be a Pure Red S with black roof, winter package, 17" anthracite wheels, black housings with adaptive xenon, bench seat... plus a few other things.

I'm glad I could help! I have done major research. I have read many blogs and threads on many different mini sites. I am pretty much obsessed! I even posted on NAM on the Obsessive Compulsive Mini Disorder thread and one person said I should seek professional help!! Hahaha Well I may be crazy but I'm well prepared! I've even read the owners manual (the official and unofficial one) twice.

Ok so also in my research there is a way to tell if our cars are close in production but I don't know about writing our VINs on here. I don't know if you guys are interested in that part. The research I've read says it's the last five numbers are the production sequence. Maybe the last four would work too.

Rupert is All4 manual S light white with black roof and mirrors. He has the cold weather, technology and premium packages. He has the back bench seat as well for Beast hauling. We really do have similar models, that's pretty cool!

Lets be optimistic and hope for a mid Feb delivery!!

2934!

and I'd LOVE if they came in by mid-Feb. My MA seemed to be surprised that the allocation slot had been moved up when he modified the allocation for my order. Maybe things are moving through more quickly lately. I hope?

Wee Stout, here in his favorite place, sleeping on my husband's chest, figured he was more human than fur-kid. Sassy and with a wicked sense of humor.. it's a shock that he's not waking me up every morning to tell me that I have to make his special food...

Awww He was very cute!! I am a big believer of animals being a lot more that people making them out to be!! I've never had a ferret, I've always wanted one but I knew it was a bit of work! We currently have 4 four legged Beasts (1 cat/dog, 1 dog/cat, 1 dog/human and 1 just dog) They really are such a part of the family!

Rupert is 2955 how exciting is this?! We are so very close in the grand scheme of things! It's crazy to me that we can have a car made and meet people going through the same thing and even find we are just a few numbers off of each other!! I ordered a week after you so that may be why mine is 20 #'s away. I tried to find out how many Countryman are made in a week, but no luck. One website said there were 700 regular mini's and mini s's done a day WOW! I can't wait to call Monday and see where he is!

After production we can track the boat they will be on
https://att.2wglobal.com/gstattweb/o...uickSearchPage
We just put our VIN in the cargo ID spot.
You guys up north only have 8 days of over sea transit!! I just hope we get on a boat quickly!!!

Yeay! I got a production number today too, now I just need to figure out if there is a date attached to it! Need to find that link with the phone number - is that how many of you figured out the day? My MA seems to know as much as I do...

Just like everyone else on this thread, I can't wait for my Countryman S!

My MINI is currently awaiting at the port for a ship. I have been calling the automated MINI system to check status and it has been very informative the last two weeks and seems to be tracking it pretty well.

The number is 1 (866) ASK-MINI. They are so nice! They even told me congratulations when I called the first time! I'm sure they are supposed to be that way, but it makes a difference!

Lucky!! I can't wait until I can say that!!! Let us know when you get on a ship and when your MINI was finished, maybe we can get an idea of how long the wait is! Wishing your Countryman safe and speedy transit!

I ordered on dec 24th, and yesterday was the first day my online status changed from on order, by clicking on the your order button on the far left I was able to then see my vin, but no date. I called the automated system but it just repeated what was online. In production with no date yet.

But the vin makes it feel more real! So excited.

Zee, you have to go through the prompts to talk to a real person. If you wait through the menu it gives you the option to talk to a representative. ASK MINI is open (9am to 9pm EST) and I guess every day. The automated system is basically the OL repeat. But a real person knows more. What are the last 4 of your VIN? We have been able to tell where we are on the production line compared to each other. Since you do have a VIN and ordered a few days before me and after some of the other on here you might have a VIN between ours and then you'd know you are on our production line!

Dain, My All4 is the same. Finished on 1/9 and awaiting at port 1/12

I think the Graz plant shut down from xmas thru 1/8 cuz mine was in the paint shop as early as 12/21 with the completion date set 9th.

Hope we get on a boat tues/wed. I think it would be the tortugas out of bremerheaven. My VIN is about 25 away from cars that made the last ship. I hope that corelates to something

Rdez79, That's awesome our MINIs are going to be on the same ship! And I am too hoping it gets on a ship soon. Curious, what state (if from the US) are you located?

What you said about the plant being shut down for a little while during the holidays makes sense.

Yeah the anticipation is killing me! Haha! I will update once it starts it's journey across the ocean.

Thanks for the well wishes! I hope you don't have much longer to wait for your MINI!

Just got my VIN today and the last 4 numbers are 8920. Not sure how that fits in with everyone else's VINs that they've posted being in the two thousand range.

I have no idea! Haha!! If your number was 2920 it would fit right in, but the 8 throws me off. I know there's an explanation, but I have read so much mini stuff lately my head is about to explode! HAHA! Sorry! And I thought I was doing so good getting this figured out!!!

Dain, I'm in he northeast, I see you are on the west coast so it might be different boats.

For those comparing VINs Of countrymas i think the last few digits vary based on transmission. I think the last letter identifies manual and auto, but then the last numerical digits are fairly differemt depending on trans. Ie man are like 12xxx and auto are like 58xxx. are in production

That makes sense, mine is an auto and matches what you are saying.

All's quiet on the production front today. No progress noted into body or paint. Maybe later this week...

Have my Countryman for about a month now, I read from another post that MINI will send their new customers gift packs, has anyone gotten any yet? I'm just curious, coz the MA didn't mention anything to me.

Hello there! I haven't posted in *years* since I sold my MCS back in '08. I am thinking about getting a R60 now that we are an expanding family. From what I've read so far, are the wait times around 2 months for an ordered R60? Do dealers typically have any stock? I'll keep searching and plan on visiting the dealership this weekend.
