Angry Bird stains on vinyl?

We left the Cooper parked and ran errands in the Bimmer. Got back and washed the CM and noticed two bird poop markers on my white stripes. They're minuscule, but I can see 'em. Just the faint outline of what was there. Anyone have any suggestions on removal?

Thanks in advance.

Those vinyl stripes should hold up better than that..... even for nuclear bird poop.

Is it the clear vinyl top coating that was permanently affected ? If so, in the past I have heard of some bonnet stripes on 1st and 2nd Gen MINI's being replaced for water stains so maybe a trip to the dealer is in order.

Sealy....(snickering)....and for some people they sing.
Try this:
I don't know if this will work, but it can't hurt to try. I use Vaseline to clean patent leeather (vinyl) and it always works like a charm. Just put some on a soft cloth or paper towel and rub lightly.

Our neighborhood is more like an Alfred Hitchcock movie. I don't have any vaseline so I tried Shout gel. Dabbed a little on, waited 30 seconds or so, and wiped it off. Stains are gone. For now.

Thanks!

Mequaire's #40......... Only thing I found that removes white wax residue from the textured vinyl on all cars and trucks now - and the MINI has a lot of it, wheels well trim etc. I use it every 3 months on all the rubber & vinyl inside and outside the vehicles, door seals especially to keep them clean, soft & pliable.
