Can you remove the rear headrests?

I'd like to fold the rear seats down, but still have the driver's seat all the way back (I'm 6'11").
Unfortunately, doing that now gives me some serious lumbar support via the rear headrest.... can it be removed?
Thanks!

Ours were out on the 2nd day. Use a small flat screw driver to press the indents, pop them out.

We find they block the rear view when installed, nobody really sits in our back seat.

You sure you don't want to remove the entire front seat?

They are pretty roomy if you have room at your height. I haven't put the front seat all the way back, but is there still room behind you?

At 6'11", I bet you get absolutely priceless looks from people when you tell them you drive a MINI.

6'4" here, and can't even imagine!

Cheers,
Tad

Thanks Don! Headrests now permanently live in the attic! And the carseats have more room now too... never thought there would be a secret release button. :-)
Yeah.... after I tell people I drive a Mini I usually have to follow up with a "seriously...... I really do"

The headrests in my '08 Clubman came out the day it came home to make room for the carseats.
