A new Colorado Countryman

Say hello to - Hot Cocoa!

A Light Coffee/White Roof Countryman. Among the options I got are:

Connected (no nav)
Cold weather package.
Xenon lights w/active following
Sports suspension (but not the sports package, hence the "Semi-Sport").
Full Rail! (Hence: Trainyard)
Auto-AC
Convenience
Sunroof

I picked it up just yesterday. So far I love it, and am really happy with the configuration choices I made.

The only thing wrong so far, is that the drivers side Convenience unlock button doesn't work, something the dealer will fix Monday. Humorously it was the very first thing my poor MA tried to demonstrate when we went to get the car.

The only thing missing at the moment is a set of Cocomat floor-mats I have on order, but I didn't order in time for the car to arrive.

Just to go into excruciating detail, some of the other adjustments I made (via the Connected) screen:
Triple-tap turn signal (flashes three times on light signal press)
Unlock All Doors - first press unlocks all the doors, not just drivers side.
Daytime Running Lights - If they see you they are less likely to hit you!

I got a chance to drive it up into the mountains a bit today, including some cool small winding roads and a great dirt road leading to a place called Gold Hill:

Very nicely done and great pictures.

I like the farm picture, very appropriate.

We will have to see it in person in a few weeks, you doing the run up to the Nebr. B&B?

Honestly, I'm not sure - I just asked my dealer to tint it before delivery, I never specified a percentage. I'll ask my MA what tint they used.

I do really like the tint, it seems like just the right amount - dark enough you can't see in easily but I can still see out pretty well.

Looking at the calendar, I think I may be out of town for all of the MINI5280 events until June! So it might be a while.

We should be getting our light coffee with white top in a few weeks. Supposed to be in California this Tuesday or Wednesday and then wait for a truck to haul it to Phoenix area. We got the white bonnet stripes on it also that come in the sport package - - - thought if I didn't like them I could take them off. Am thinking I would like the double center bonnet stripe better, We will see though.

Now I also have pictures of the interior - a whole Flickr set with all of these images plus a few others, all viewable at larger sizes is here:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/kigipho...7626492622901/

The interior is polar beige, headliner and insert, with carbon blank door panels and piano black trim in doors and along the dash. I did both headliner and door insert in polar beige as I thought it would bring the roof down into the lower half of the car, that worked out pretty well...

The seats are the parallel line Light Tobacco cloth/leather seats - I like them quite a lot as well. I've alway preferred cloth seats to leather, I loved the cloth seats in my '03 MCS and these seem just as good. For a longish period driving today they seemed comfortable to me.

Also, like I said these are NOT my final floor mats...

I'll be really interested to see how it looks with the stripes, I wasn't sure myself so I thought I'd wait a while. My plan is possibly to get something put on from Aesthetic Creations at the next MINIs In The Mountains.

Enjoy your car when it arrives, I think the color combination is really good! I think dressing it up just a little bit, with stripes or something else, is a good idea.

I found this picture online a week or so ago of a Light Coffee with stripes. I wouldn't mind even black sport stripes instead of white. My wife thinks black would look strange since we have a white roof - - - not sure I agree on that. Ours will have the Polar Beige line also.

Hey, I love the color choices, and the wheels look great! A couple of your shots (particularly the last one) look like mini promo photos. Nicely done.

Actually I think black stripes might look better, kind of a white above and black below thing (except for the window tint). There's so much other black going on already with the trim and grill that you might as well surrender to it, even though the white roof looks great..

Here's a badly-edited photoshop rework of the image you found showing the stripes in black instead of white:

Thanks, my wife and I love the wheels... they look even better in person! Not quite sure why, they are really interesting wheels.

Plus after almost nine years of trying to keep white wheels clean, these should hide (and possibly even contain) brake dust a lot better.

Definitely. And that "light coffee" is a color I would never have picked off the swatches, but in person, it makes a gorgeous car. The white sets it off nicely.

Your interior choices are great! The light panels in the doors along with the lighter headliner give the car a very bright look. One of the nicest I've seen!

Great photos! The light coffee looks really good with your interior. And, echoing what others said, nice wheels!
