Removing Airbag Warning Placards from Visors

Just curious if anyone has tried removing the warning placards. To me, these are quite ugly and I would prefer if not there. However, these do not look easy to remove. Has anyone had success removing these without damage to the visors? If so, any advise on how to do this would be appreciated. Thank you!

Mine are gone, I started with rubbing alcohol and progressed to OOPS. They didn't want to come off and it took some serious rubbing. In the right light you can still see where they were but at least it doesn't look like the back of an infant carrier.

I remember seeing somewhere in here some very cleverly worded replacements you could stick over them as an alternative.

On other cars you can soak a paper towel w/ alcohol and let it sit on the sticker for about 20 minutes. Make sure the towel is always wet w/ alcohol and doesnt dry out. After 20 minutes, it should peel right off...hopefully in one piece. Works best if you can remove the visor
