R60 Where is the Auriga leader?
Yes, thanks sooooo much for getting these captures. I thought for sure it would be days before she made it all the way through, not hours.
I saw the animation fron the Centennial Bridge. Very cool. Are you doing one from Miraflores as well; is that what you meant above?

I started to realize a while ago that the voyage seemed to have an extra several days built in. I wasn't sure if it would stop somewhere or would be early to PH. Early is good!!!
Instant off-loading and VDC processing would be welcome, so we'd only be facing ground transport time to meet our new traveling companions.

The revised estimate is based on the departure from the Panama Canal on 4/30 and a typical transit to Port Hueneme of about 8 days. Silvernuke and I seem to be in agreement in this optimistic estimate. Update: Next stop is indeed 5/7 per Marine Traffic, but the port is San Diego

I have a feeling Auriga Leader going through Panama Canal basically without stopping was all on schedule. - gosh.. for next time, I will really have to find a way to get my hands on the official manifesto of a vessel!! It seems AL will stay in San Diego for a bit, then stop by Long Beach, then on May 12, Port Hueneme, as scheduled - while we really wouldn't mind earlier arrival~

On Marine Traffic I signed up for My Fleet and put Auriga Leader and Madame Butterfly in. That provided more information, like the Last Known Port, Last Position, and Destination in the Live Map / Services list after I signed in. It also lets me get updated on change of status by email....still watching and waiting...
AurigaLeader
She's back in range folks! Couple of days late for San Diego but at least she is not lost at sea! Still in Mexican waters but "comin' round the corner"

Augira in San Diego
Here she is on the San Diego Cruise taking Monty, Fenton, Medium et al for a close look at Carrier Midway and then onto town for some smashing seafood and a night of dancing and autocrossing in the car park...

With the help of tugs Saturn and Spartan, Auriga Leader is being gently nudged next to the San Diego car dock so that the celebratory partying for the BMW 650i convertibles won't be disturbed until the soon-to-be moment for their departure.
My bet is that the MINIs will really get it on once the stodgy Bavarians leave.

Has anyone else checked their status on the WW site?
Here's mine:
So either they kicked me off in San Diego or they're getting the paperwork done a couple days ahead of time (which is what they usually do).
Here's mine:
LINER RELEASE PORT HUENEME, CA 09-05-2011 09:43:04 CUSTOMS RELEASE PORT HUENEME, CA 09-05-2011 00:00:00
I don't know how to accomplish that.
(1) The Auriga Leader is an NYK ship, so I wouldn't expect updates on status through the WW site.
(2) It's possible the consignment on board went through customs in San Diego, although there are still stops in at least Long Beach and Port Hueneme to go.
-I understand the MINIs are setting up an autocross course in the empty space left by the BMWs departing.

The status usually changes a couple of days ahead like I showed whether it stops in SD, LB or not.

Edit: The PH schedule has been updated with the AR still coming into the docks on 5/12.
I think I'm seeing the AR on this webcam. The position of the cam changes so you may not get a shot of her depending on when you look.
See pic attached of a screen grab I took a few minutes ago. If I'm right the ship is near the far right just below the horizon.

It looks like the partying MINIs still on board the Auriga Leader would like to go check out the nearby Queen Mary while they're in Long Beach. Too bad Sealy's PO isn't around to lead the outing.
