R60 Are Countryman Seats higher?
Are Countryman Seats higher?
I mentioned before that my mini was originally bought for my husband. He drove it two days and his back bothered him. The low seating position, even at it's highest point creates an issue for him. So hence, I have and love my new mini. He drives a PT Cruiser, which he loves but someday might have a craving for the mini again. Anybody know if the Countryman's seats sit more upright. Is there a way of comparing like his PT Cruiser height to Countryman height. I know test driving is the best way, but he would have to test drive it for days to be sure. I think he would have to see actual measurements.
We have a MINI Cooper S, a Countryman S and a PT Cruiser. The Countryman is a different seating position than the MCS. The CM is about 6 inches taller overall and is much easier egress. This is why we got ours, my husband always loved driving my MCS, but had issues getting in/getting out. He absolutely loves his CM. Your husband should give it a test drive. Just bear in mind that if you get one, the only sport seats that also have the lumbar support are the leather seats.

Thanks BoCRon. He will take a test drive someday. He's not ready to purchase yet , he loves his PT. I love my mini. I was sad when he had to give it up, but I am really enjoying it. He is going to put bonnet stripes on it soon. I'll post pictures soon. Yours are beautiful.

Actually, the leatherette seats don't have the adjustable lumbar support, but the leather+cloth and all-leather seats do have the adjustable lumbar support.
Like I said
. Only the seats with leather...Annette
