Front Ground Clearance

I don't know that I've seen anyone comment on clearance - coming from a car with a very low clearance up front (the 2008 R32), coupled with a relatively long overhang, I'm very happy to NOT have to worry about scraping every time I pull into a parking space or up the entrance up a steep road. (I'm defining "overhang" as the amount of car from the front wheels to the very frontmost part of the car - the "nose", if you will.")

I don't know what you call the low-hanging bib that wraps around the front of a car, but on the CM, it's a black rubbery material. On my R32, it was painted. So with the CM, even if you do scrape, you're not really damaging anything.

There is much less front overhang on the CM, so I can approach a relatively steep entrance without worry. (My bank, for example, has a ramp that is all scraped up from cars hitting it as they enter.)

Not a reason to buy a car, for sure, but a nice, unexpected feature, nonetheless!

Ditto...You don't realize it until you don't have to worry about it anymore. I'm thrilled to be up a little taller than my previous vehicle (subie wrx)

The first time I drove my husband's (then boyfriend's) Mercedes coupe, I scraped up the front on a parking curb. Shortly after I bought my Acura RSX-S, I did the same thing. Then I did it again.

Out of habit, I started parking waaaaay back. But, needless to say, the curbs of the world are much safer with me driving a Countryman.

I used to scrape the sidewalk every time I drove out of the garage in my R53. It would make me wince each morning...

Now, I just drive off!

Don't worry someone is going to drop the CM and put coilovers or an airbag suspension.
