Just placed my order minutes ago at the nearest dealer to me in Vancouver, BC.

Pricing in Canada is significantly higher for all new cars than in USA, but having imported a vehicle recently I did not want to go through that again. Oh well, stress reduction is good for the soul.

I negotiated down from MSRP for about $950 worth of accessories for no charge: Front/Back/Cargo rubber mats; roof rack cross rails; bike carrier.

Plus, after a disappointing first quote (14k) on my trade-in (VW Eurovan w. Pop-top), they came up by $3,800 after checking the van over. With the Tax differential off the full purchase price, I'd be knocking about 50% of total cost. I've got 30 days to decide to trade-in or not...and already have 3 interested private buyers at my offering price of $23000....that's still $3k more than the dealer's offer plus tax saving.
