R60 How long until delivery?
According to the tracking website the Faust will actually arrive on the 11th April, not the 4th. It is leaving Bremerhaven today. But still my CM does not show up on the tracker.
The plot thickens!

It looks like you and I are currently competing for the North American 2011 title of "longest wait for our Countryman"!
At this point my MA and I are thinking it will be the 20th April for delivery. The Faust is on it's way and even though I cannot find my CM online I am crossing all my appendages that it is. I am just glad to "know" when.
My MA also told me "If I was in charge of hiring at distribution, you'd have a job! "
He was impressed with my sleuthing skills, all thanks to this place!
Sequin, the longest wait award is not really something either of us want to win!
I feel for you all waiting so long for your Countryman to arrive. Hang in there. I think a lot of it is expectations starting with what your Motoring Advisor may indicate. From the notes written on my original order sheet it states, "April". Per my signature below:
I ordered on January 15. BUT I knew, from my dealer (at time of ordering), that the FIRST production slot available was WEEK 6, which was February 1-9. So mine finished production on February 9, and then took 5 days to get to Bremerhaven. Now...it SAT for 12 days
before it BARELY made the Don Quijote (the west coast seems to have fewer ships). It hit the west coast port, Port Hueneme, on March 23 (right on schedule) and was trucked to my dealer in Utah by March 27. I take delivery tomorrow, March 31 (had to get mudflaps installed, contemplated stripes and busy evenings). So, by those calculations:
time from ORDER date: 11 weeks
time from PRODUCTION SLOT date: 9 weeks

I actually kind of wish our CM would take a couple of weeks longer to get delivered because winter seems to be hanging on longer than we anticipated.
My relatives in Northern Jersey told me a bit earlier today the forecast is for up to 10" of snow
Get your snow shovels ready Family Man my back already feels your impending pain

If my CM was here though I'd be pulling for snow though...get out and test the ALL4!!

The reason we've been so frustrated is that our ordered vehicle went into production on Feb 16, just a couple of days after our Feb 14 order (our dealer had a production slot available). It completed production on Feb 25 and then took 18 days
to get to Bremerhaven and will sit in Bremerhaven for 29 days
(from March 15 until it is scheduled to be loaded on a ship on April 13). It's really been a bizarre process and no one has been able to tell us why several vessels with Brunswick GA as a port of call have come & gone from Bremerhaven and our poor Countryman has not made any of them. Our time from the production slot until delivery will end up being about 12 weeks, if we're lucky.
I hope everyone feels sufficiently sorry for us.
Like you, since the order was placed my experience has been fairly smooth so far. I can't say the same for some the dealer/salesperson foolishness leading up to placing the order, but that's a different discussion.
Amazing how varied the post-order experience can be.
I've been thinking the same thing. I'd have thought there would be an effort made to provide consistency in the ordering experience across their customer base but it appears not to be the case.

By the way, check out my updated sig.
Hi
Just received some good news from my MA. My Pure Red ALL4 has began its journey on the Faust on Mar 30 and is due to arrive on Apr 13
The car was built on Mar 10 and sent to Bremerhaven on the 17th
This site and community has added so much interest to the purchase of the car. It makes the process a Happening!!!

Woohoo! Just got an update that somehow our vehicle made it onto a ship on 3/31. This comes after we were told last week that it wouldn't make a ship until 4/13. Perhaps husband & I won't win the award for longest wait in North America, thankfully!!
I posted about it here:

Sequin, it looks like you and I will be picking up on the same day! So I might be the longest wait award recipient! I ordered on Jan24th. My CM has fianlly appeared on the WW site and is destined to arrive on the 11th April, but it does have a long drive to reach me.
Isn't it wonderful to finally have some good news! I will be happily motoring at Easter!

Husband & I are so anxious for his to arrive. I checked on the Bishu Highway today and it's still due to arrive at 2AM on 4/13 in Brunswick. Thankfully, its first US port of call is Brunswick, so it's on a straight shot route to there and hopefully there will be no delays.

Keep us posted!! Hope the Easter bunny brings us our Countryman (or is it Countrymen?).
I have a Toronto roadtrip on Easter weekend and I would love to be in my new toy. I have never owned a mini before and I am beyond excited. Sold my van and now am carless for two weeks.
Countrymen I think!
Great news!!

Me too
I noticed this morning that Madame Butterfly, the next WW ship leaving Bremerhaven and headed to the west coast VDC (Port Huemene), moved into position overnight to load up with cars before her planned departure tomorrow, 4/9. No word yet whether Fenton is on board.
Hoping my Light Coffee will be on this ship also. Called Mini and they didn't have any info, sent my MA an email but I am pretty sure he will not have any info. He is pretty much a waste of salesman.
Looks like if ours isn't on the Madame Butterfly our next chance would be Toledo on April 23rd arriving at Port Hueneme, CA on May 18th
