Question Interesting Video from BMW - Changes?

Well, maybe somewhat interesting. I posted earlier about MOG coming to MINI Connect. This video demonstrates the system. The individual doing the demo identifies himself as being from BMW, California. The system is interesting, but a couple of non-MOG things stand out.
  1. When he connects his iPhone, he puts it down and it's obvious he's putting it in the cup holder. I guess the holder doesn't work for them, either.
  2. When they pan down to show the joy stick control (at about 1:37) there is a straight black hand brake handle with a silver release button dead center to the console. Question is - what happened to the L-shape currently in use and what does that do to the center rail? Inquiring minds want to know.
Other than that, MOG does look like a nice addition.

Not sure but that may not be a Countryman he's in. Looks a lot like a regular MINI.

Yea he says it's in all the models but in this case it's a Mini (aren't they all), I assume he means justa a Cooper.

Poop. Never mind.

Sealy - Looking at the details, missing the big picture.

The thing that comes to mind to me, is if MOG can present a custom screen on the MINI display why could not a GPS app do the same thing... that would be perfect. But I don't see MINI wanting/allowing that to happen as it could cut in-car Nav sales.
