Need more info on your side visor

Perhaps I will feel differently when i have the windows tinted. Other than that--I LOVE this car.
Please post a pic or detailed description of your side visor. Thanks.

Thanks for the pics

Thanks very much for the pics. Now I want to know how to get one for my CM. Is there, by chance, a part number anywhere on your side visor?

there is another thread on here, but what i stole from it for you is this:

"According to Mike Bennett at Mini of South Atlanta (where I ordered mine from), the correct part number for a 2012 CM in Anthracite is 51169809235. This is a different part number from the other Mini's."

I know this thread is old and probably dead but I just bought a 2011 Countryman and I need a driver side visor. Could somebody confirm that the part numbers posted will work? Also could somebody repost any pictures, as they were removed? Thanks for anything!

Go to realoem.com plug in your serial number and that should confirm the correct parts for your car. Never failed me with BMW parts, always gave the right info.

Side visors for 2011 CM

Go with real oem. As stated earlier you can use side visors made for hardtop or CM but there are two issues. The headliner needs to be changed if you want the visor to sit flush with roof when up. Plus the side visor on CM is not nearly as efficient as on other MINIs. I had/have visor on my Clubman and used a lot. I put visor on my 2011 CM and found I didn't use it much.

Not sure when Mini started doing this, but our 2015 Countryman has the side sun visor standard.

Please post a Pic if you still have this vehicle

I think it looks much better and does not poke out at all - will post a picture if anyone is interested
Can you please post a pic?
