Ordered from CravenSpeed yesterday. Tired of slightly freaking every time I pass a cop. The clearbra has a cutout so it should be super easy to deal with.

It also seems to be the only one that mounts the tag at an angle that is parallel to the underlying bumper skin, rather than just perpendicular to the tow hook fitting bolt with the outboard end of the tag hanging out in space. IMHO, the GoMINIGo mount looks much better.

As I had promised I made the video of the show n go remote plate holder! I'm loving it so far.

Made this video in a rush since I was running late to work.

Got it off eBay. Prices range $125 to $160. I got mine from this auction.
A friend of mine installed it in 20 minutes.

Picked up my Countryman last week and trying to figure out what front licenses plate to get. I just found this:

Seems similiar to the gominigo option but for $34

After reading this thread and some others I went with the GoMiniGo plate holder. The main reason I chose this was the angle so that the plate is more parallel with the bumper. This is decent, but I would not say I'm completely satisfied. The mount that screws into the tow hook is recessed enough the the two washers were not enough to push the bracket out enough to avoid scraping the bumper around the hole. I had to scrounge around and find another ring in order to push it out so that there's no rubbing. Also, the M6 bolts seemed to seize up--not just one, two of them. I had to cut one off and start again when mounting the license plate itself. Thankfully there were a couple extras so I wasn't left hanging. So far so good in terms of it being solid, and I think it looks good in the default mounting position. Definitely happy I went with this vs. one that would jut out a bit from the bumper. On the downside, the instructions could have been more clear, and I'm not sure I'm excited about the process for removing it (remove license plate, remove license plate backing, then you can access the bolt that allows you to remove the bracket itself), especially considering the directions suggest removal before washing your car (at least if you run it through a car wash).

In the end, I'd probably buy this again, but it leaves me thinking that there's a better solution. (No offense intended toward the GMG folks).

I was thinking of opting for the powered version!
What do you guys think?
I think it looks awesome.

I also think that a single salty New England winter will destroy it.
