Some are. Some are just outside the box and people can't accept it. I was an idea to get the plate off the front bumper.

First thought would be that the authorities may have something to say about it - either for improper display or obstruction of vision. Aesthetics also may come in to play. From the outside it might be OK, but what would you and your passenger be looking at? So, definitely outside the box - but it may need a little work. If you really want it off the bumper, you may want to look at the gizmo that folds and slides under the bumper. It's in another thread.

Good luck!

License plate is about the same size as the window visor. So no different as if that was down. As long as the police can read it from the front then your fine.

Hey Sealy (and other PO Countryman owners), we stopped by our dealership over the weekend to get a Countryman fix while we wait for ours and they had a Pure Red/Orange Countryman on the lot. It looked fantastic! The color is so vivid and alive. We ordered ours in pure white and I was having a little color envy. Great choice. You defintely won't lose it in a parking lot.

Being an old Drama Queen, you'd be hard pressed to find a parking lot I haven't lost it in.

You'll be just fine with your LW, once it's in your driveway. Patience is a (over rated) virtue!

Thanks!
