R60 Week 3 Support Group
I have that schedule (and mine is expected to be completed on 1/21). So how long to get from the factory to the dock to catch the ships? Mine is coming to Baltimore, so I was looking at ships going right between the two.
My '07 MCS took a couple of weeks to get on the boat and take off from England after production completion. We'll have to see how it works this time. Your MA should tell you which port you're going to -- I have to go through the Panama Canal to Port Hueneme, CA, so it will take me a loooonnng time...
If your order has an allocated production slot, your dealer knows which week your car is scheduled to be produced. Ask them, there is no need to guess. Having said that, even a scheduled production week is subject to getting moved up or back. But just ask your dealer for the date as it is in their system.
My CM went into production on the same day as yours - maybe they'll be shipmates!
There are numerous "how to track" threads in this forum so I'd rather not repeat the info again. There is also an excellent primer as a sticky in the 1st Gear forum. Take a little look around and you'll find everything you need.

Time post-completion in Graz varies. Mine sat there for 13 days before being loaded on the train to Bremerhaven but that is not the norm. I think a few days is more typical.
conf. prod. 2010/11/45 (year/month/week of production)
It may also be listed as Sch. Prod or Req. Prod depending on status.
Well just to placate my OCD I called ASKMINI this evening. My status has changed from "in production" to "in the body shop" with a completion date of 1/18.
Love it when a change in status pops up. Starting to order mods already.

For those of us going to CA: If we're lucky, we're on the Don Juan, leaving Bremerhaven on 1/29, arriving Port Hueneme 2/23; no so lucky, we're on the Maersk Wind, leaving Bremerhaven on 2/2, getting in on 3/9.
Just called ask mini and ours is scheduled to be complete on 1/24!! Woo Hoo! How long is it taking people to get their CM's after production is complete? Ours would be coming in on the east coast so it would probably be sooner than folks that have to go through the panama canal..
that's awesome! the lag between OL and 866-ask-MINI is so weird - it's not like they're not looking at the same source data on a computer somewhere!
My timing must have been really good. I Ordered December 3rd and it finished production on the 13th. Got to and waited for a boat forever. Arrived at the VDC on the 14th of January and was released to the carrier on the 17th. My MA said it is due to arrive at the dealer on the 20th, but may be a day early. I should be able to pick it up on the 20th or 21st. I know you are all being patient, but this post provides a time line. My Mini came to the US through Brunswick GA and has to travel to the Houston area of Texas. Most of the delay getting on the boat was due to the customs delay over the door sticker not listing weight in pounds.
My CM was offically ordered on 1/7/11, and I was prepared for an 8 week wait based on his dealer estimates. Prior to reading these posts I was relying on information from my dealer. Not that any of his information was incorrect, I may have not completely understood him, but on Saturday 1/15/11 he told me that it would start production on Monday 1/17/11. I sent him an email on Monday just to see if it was in production and he told me that it wouldn't start until 1/20/11 (even though the status on the paperwork he gave me was 150 - Production Scheduled). A little delayed, but nothing bad.
I have also been checking the OL since Saturday when I got my prod # and VIN and it has remained at Scheduled for Production.
These posts prompted me to call ASK MINI tonight and they told me that my CM is actually out of the paint shop and should be complete by 1/20/11. I assume that means the car will be built by 1/20/11. They reminded me that after the build there are the QA checks, etc., and then to port. They didn't have an estimate of delivery.
While I am excited, I guess I am a little confused. I don't expect the online tracking to be very comprehensive, but I would have expected ASK MINI and my dealer to have the same information.
Based on this, if my CM is complete by 1/20/11, does anyone have an idea of when it will be shipped or delivered based on what you've been told? Whose CM will be keeping mine company on the ride over? My port is BALPOA (Baltimore??).

I am still listed as a Jan 19 completion, but not sure about that since my status just moved to 151 (enter body shop) yesterday.
Here are the links for the WW ship lines and their ship schedule. Soon we will be looking at these.
