Better graphics coming to Mini/BMW
This is great news. Hopefully, by the time I get a new countryman, it will have the improved chipsets/graphics. -
The chip maker has entered into a partnership with BMW – and, by extent, Mini – to provide GPUs for every vehicle in the Bavarian's portfolio, from the Cooper to the 7 Series. NVIDIA claims that new chipsets will enable speedier graphics, a more rich, next-generation interface and a high resolution display of 1280x600 pixels. We'll be getting some hands on time with both systems later this week, so stay tuned for our first impressions.
