R60 Whose Countryman is "Scheduled for Production"?
today is Wednesday. the one day a week I'm allowing myself to get all crazy about where the hell my MINI is.
I shook the Magic 8-ball, and it told me "scheduled for production, with no date"
grrrr.
Everything I've read on this board leads me to believe that my MA can look up the production week, but he doesn't seem to know. I also remember signing something at the dealership that specifically said something about non-availability of production slots (yes, I should read stuff I sign).
When I asked the nice people at 1-866-ask-MINI, they said they had no idea when my car would move into production...
My dear supportive wife points out that I currently have a car, and should stop whining about it, so I come here for support
Also, I'm thinking of making Cosmic Blue Conspiracy Theory t-shirts...

I haven't had a date in years and I seem to be holding up pretty well. You got a wife - see if she can do something to take your mind off of the CBCT.
I'm still waiting for a coulple of more lease payments on the BMW to get in line to order. As far as having a car to take your mind off it - - I've got a 2004 T-Bird roadster (in a decent red color (Merlot)) to keep me amused while I wait. Just looking for a little sunshine to drop the top.

Agree completely. Your MA CAN look up your production week. Mine did it this past weekend. I think he is buying time until they get a slot for production to put you in. Ask the sales manager to look up the production week, he should DEFINITELY be able to do it and will know how. I've seen the sales manager at my mini look this up on the cars they have ordered and coming in as stock cars so if the sales manager says he can't do it then something is fishy. I just placed my order on January 5th and it is scheduled for production the third week of this month, i.e. end of next week. I would be willing to bet they sold out all their production slots and they are waiting to get another slot so they can get your order in. How long ago did you order?
ah. I'm misleading, apparently 12/6/2010. I missed the /6/
and thanks for all the "talk to the sales manager" advice - I'm going in on Friday to test drive their ALL4S, so I'll see what I can find out then.

This.
Not sure this helps but it's at least an interesting read on BMW's delivery processing.

Finally! No more "Scheduled for Production" now it's "Awaiting Transport"
Ordered mine on 12/14 and it's finally gone from "Scheduled for Production" to "Built and Awaiting Transport" as of today.
Here's the stats:
S
Light White with Black Roof and Mirrors
Premium Pkg
Convenience Pkg
Sport Pkg (Black Bonnet Stripes and 18" 5 Star Double Spoke Black Rims)
Automatic (other car is a 6 spd Manual 'vette (2002))
Anthracite Headliner
Carbon Black Interior
Leather Gravity Carbon Black
Surf Blue Color Line
2 Part Center Rail
Alarm System
Center Armrest
Comes in at $34,200 (not counting Sales Tax)
Can't wait to get it... although I know it's still going to be another 6-8 weeks from everything I've been reading.
Didn't go for ALL4 as there's really no point in Southern Florida:P
Also, didn't go for the Mini Connected (which I may wind up regretting) or Nav. Had to keep the cost down somehow and those were the only real options I was willing to do without.
It'll replace my '09 Clubman S that was stolen and totaled in December (long story).

Good news jondfishman! Hopefully your car won't sit long in Graz or Bremerhaven. Time for you to start looking at the WW shipping schedules to see which RoRos yare are shooting for. Good luck!
My CM changed status on the 11th!! Got a screen shot of the dealers info, and it has a scheduled build date of 2/5... In most cases, has this been right on for most of you? Or have you been seeing the actual build date be sooner? So I am in status 112, wahooo!
My production week initailly was scheduled for week 44 and ultimately slipped back to week 47. There were some supply problems at that time that seem to be resolved. Members here have reports some schedules moving up as well. Good luck!
I have seen a few move up lately. Mine did by one week from the 3rd week of Jan. to the 2nd week. Not much, but since I ordered on Dec. 27, came as a pleasant surprise. Congrats on the change, it's exciting to check your info and find things are moving forward.
apparently my whining was loud enough to be heard in Graz, Austria.
my Countryman is now IN PRODUCTION!! scheduled to be finished a week from today.
needless to say, my "I should only check OL/1-866-ask-MINI once a week thing" lasted for about 10 hours. but I'm glad.

Welcome to the forums and congrats on your order!
Hello fellow Okie, I'm in Tulsa, ordered mine from Jackie Cooper Edmond on 1/5/11, also no confirmed production date.
