I went out to the the dealership this morning and double checked my color choice.
Took the Bright Yellow sample off the display wall and compared it to the three different yellows that MINI has produced.
Really glad I drove an hour out there! The Bright Yellow is really close to the Interchange Yellow - it has lots of green in it, especially in natural light.
I changed my order to the Light Coffee.

Well, my local Mini dealer (in Portland, OR) is apparently out of their allocation of Countryman S All4s for Nov builds...serves me right for waiting for pricing before putting my money down.

Looks like I'll be spending this afternoon calling other Mini dealers, but does anyone know for sure of dealers that are still taking orders? Especially on the west coast?

TruMini - I can't wait to see photos. What color roof/mirrors did you order?

The First allocation was very small for the All 4. We got one slot and we were told we needed it to be a priority one car (so ordered for a customer) before we could have one. The All 4 in the first run is very slim and we had a deposit on an All 4 already. I would say you may have to order in the second run looking for an All 4. We dont have any other deposits on the All 4 so I can put an order in our order bank for you which means as soon as a production number is available you would get it. If you have quesitons you can contact me at amanda@southbaymini.com but the All 4 production slots are going to be hard to find

I was checking thru the product lists for Midnight Blue and Inimini2007. Doing a little comparision shopping!
I didn't order the Piano Black Interior Cockpit Surface.

That item seeems like it would be the perfect aftermarket product. Am hoping to find it in a lighter color. Any opinions?

I really don't want shiny black surfaces - it's just going to be a dust magnet here in Phoenix.

My Specs
Countryman S
Light Coffee Exterior
White Roof and Mirrors
Steptronic Automatic Transmission
Sports steering wheel with paddles
Polar Beige Gravity Leather
Sport Package
-18" alloy Turbo Fan wheels
-xenons-white turn signals
-white bonnet stripes
Dynamic Traction
Center Armrest
Carbon Black Color Line
Interior Color Polar Beige
Mini Connected Control

Hey everyone...sad to say good-bye from the Countryman group already! I canceled my Countryman order and instead will pick up my MINI Cooper S (hot chocolate/white top) tomorrow. Decided to save some money for now and see how everything shakes out with the Countryman. See you in the General forum!

Your new MCS sounds like a beauty. Immediate gratification has it's merits. Be sure to post pix and drive safely!

Thanks - oh yes - and I wanted to tell you - I test drove the 6-speed and LOVED it. So I got mine with the extra pedal. SO MUCH fun - you're going to love it!

Thanks. We were teetering between Cosmic Blue and Royal Gray right down to the last second. We pryed the tiles off the showroom wall and took them out into the sun to compare. The purple content in Cosmic Blue is a little concerning in the brochure but frankly the color tile looked great outside, however the Gray looks great too and with the Gray we could get the Pure Red combination seats and the Pure Red color line. We have this red combination in our Cooper S and we have been very happy with it so that partially drove our decision.

Great CharlieKe, nice set of options and colors.

Our Oxford Green Countryman S ALL4 is in status 155 today, it is in the final QA, so I guess you would call this the the Happy Birthday day.

Agreed. Seems to almost no purple in real light and in real life. I'm jaded of course...

I put ad in the local newspaper to find a new home for my Truman.
Very sad for me. He's been a great car and I'm going to miss him.
I posted an ad on my local MINI site also. I would be thrilled if he went to a MINI family!

We're waiting for the configurator (well, ok and to sell our G35 sedan) before we place our order. Can't wait! My li'l '06 Cooper will only have been with us for 6 months by the time I get rid of it for the Countryman.

Feel free to correct me, but. . .
