Midnight Blue - does November allocation mean December build and February delivery? I'm undecided on the MINI Connected but I do like the Visual Radio Boost...not sure if that will be offered without MINI Connected in the US.

Thanks!

I'm not sure but that is what I surmise.

As for Visual Boost, I do not see it in the Order Guide, just MINI Connected and MINI Connected with Navigation (but you knew that )

I believe a Mid-January Launch Party if the configurator is up in NOV.

My guess, and it is only a guess, is that those items are part of an aerokit of some sort. Not sure if that would be a factory option or a dealer installed accessory.

Question for anyone who has seen the color tiles -
What is the Bright Yellow like?
I have a Liquid Yellow S and I love the color, I'm not so fond of the Mellow Yellow on the newer models.

Thanks for any help!

Take a look at the galleries on MotoringFile.com. There was a pic of a yellow Countryman at the Austin press event.

My dealership just emailed me a photo of the color tile. I've tried to attach it but my computer is having kittens.

I saw the photos and videos on Motoring File - I was hoping for an in-person opinion.
Colors are tricky and computers can really throw different hues.

This Bright Yellow seems to be a soft, buttery yellow. Even a little lighter then Liquid Yellow. I'm happy with it!

MINI Connected is 1000; MINI Connected with NAV is 1750. Both include Comfort Bluetooth.

The order guide/price guide is on motoringfile.com and miniusanews.com

Nov allotment means you will have your car built in Nov. Delivery in middle to end to Dec. The launch is Jan. 8th 2011. Dealers should have some Countrymans to test drive in Nov and Dec.

The Countryman with MINI Connected is a NOV build. MINI Connected on a Cooper Hatch, Clubman or Convertible is DEC build.

Order Status Update

I have my production number and MINI Owners' Lounge now shows the accurate and correct configuration for my order! Status is still "On Order" but at least the configuration is correctly represented.

Maybe the car will come in January?

Yeah, if built in Nov, then for East coast late Dec, West coast: Jan. The official launch date is Jan 8th, but with building in Nov, some cars will be here in Dec.

Motoringfile has a MINI Connected review up with video now, if interested.

I'm just outside Philly so hopefully I'll be a luck East Coaster.

When should I expect to see order status change in the OL?

You work for a dealer? Or MINI USA perhaps? Seem to have inside info... Thanks!

Will check out the review on MF too. Appreciate it.

I ordered mine this morning!!
Countryman S in Bright Yellow with white roof and mirrors.
Dealership told me to expect delivery in late Dec ~ early Jan

Have my production number - owners lounge shows that I ordered a Pure Red S. Am really glad I read thru all of Midnight Blue's posts and didn't panic!

Congrats TruMini! Make sure you read the How To Track Your MINI primer in the 1st Gear forum. That's where I learned not to panic over OL.

You should see the correct specification in a few days or so. I didn't check every day so not sure exactly how long it took.

Now the waiting begins, nice to have company...

No fair!
I wanna live on the East Coast so I get quicker delivery.
My poor baby has to come all the way to Arizona.
But I'll never need all season tires!

There's always a trade off Did you get the 18" wheels? I would have if they could be had with all season tires.

The only package I ordered is the Sport with the 18" alloys in silver.

I love the hint of purple in the Cosmic Blue - yours should look really sharp with the white roof and mirrors!

I went back and compared your ordering specs to mine, those adaptive xenons look really appealing.

Thanks for the hint about checking out the Primer - it helped!

Congratulations to Inamini2007

My wife and I were a little concerned just how much purple is in Cosmic Blue. After seeing several photos and the color tile at the dealership, we didn't really see any purple to speak of, though in different light it will probably change.

To us, the Cosmic Blue is a very dark blue, almost black. Strong resemblance to the Porsche color Midnight Blue which is what my user name references.

Your Countryman is going to be sharp! Looking forward to seeing pix.
