My wife just texted me to say that someone was taking pictures of her car. I said they may not know what it is since it doesn't have Countryman badging. We were the 4th CM delivered from our dealer and they will be pretty scarce in our area for some time.

So I picked up my Countryman with just enough time to get home to load up the luggage and head to the airport for a week at CES. Here's a couple quick pics of us picking it up and another of it left at the airport (found a great spot where no one could park on either side.) More pics when the sun comes back out!

Does that mean no more pictures until July? That may be when the sun comes out again in Portland...snowing in Bend right now. Less than 2 weeks until I join you as an Oregonian with a Countryman.

Funny! They actually canceled the threats of a big snow today. I was bummed, I'm eager to try it out in the snow. Maybe I'll have to head your direction...
You left a brand new Countryman at the airport? Crazy enough. But, you don't trust that nice young lady to leave it at home with her? Somehow, I understand - my BMW is 3 years old and I'm still "encouraged" (strongly) not to leave it at the airport, yet I frequently come home to some minor damage that just kind of happened to it.

We need to protect our shiny toys.
Thankfully "that nice young lady" was kind enough to join me in Vegas. It was bad enough to leave it at home for a week.
Somehow the idea of not driving it to and from the airport seemed crazier than any other option.
I'm a huge fan of stuff getting used. I'd much rather break something having fun with it than have it sit home well protected.
