I have a two things to first FIA get rid of the spec drive trains. second and more in portent bring back class b

 

I don't think you or I will see a return of group B in our lifetime. The costs approached that of F1 in the day. Spectator deaths along with Henri Toivonen & Sergio Cresto's deaths put the final nail in that coffin.

 

What is the max hp for the wrc?? I'm so excited for this thing to come out!

 

Max HP is limited to around 300, IIRC. Modern WRC cars have massive torque though, much more important than max HP on the kind of surfaces on which they typically race. I think they also aim for an average speed on each stage of 120 km/h, or something like that.

Many restrictions came about in the late '80's when the monster "Group B" supercars were banned. Power, speeds and danger (to drivers and crazy spectators) were getting out of control, the FIA stepped in and banned the whole thing. Search youtube for "group B rally" and see what I mean.
