Design your Countryman from MINI UK

I created the MINI Countryman from MINI UK site, but it looks expensive to me in US dollar (pound to US dollar) I wonder what cost of MINI Countryman will be.....

Have you tried to create your MINI Countryman yet?

yep been there done that but i fear prices will be way more over here in australia any way. the cost of my build countryman was Aus$ 46786 plus tax & on road costs (GbP 25687)

its starts to make me think Mini's are way over priced for what they are

I'm not sure you can just "convert" the price from pound to US dollars... I believe things in UK cost a bit more.

What you could do is create a simple MINI in the USA website and the same MINI in the UK website and see how accurate is the "simple conversion"

Talking about the conversion rates, not that this is extremely accurate, but it gives you an idea. A McDonald's Big Mac meal here in the states is anywhere from $4-6. The same thing in London will be about 5 GBP. Just comparing a basic 1.6 Cooper manual as listed on both US and UK site's, its 14,475 GBP and $19,500. The last time I checked the USD/GBP exchange rate, it was 1.66ish, so in conclusion, we really have no real estimate for prices here in the states based off of other country's prices. But I think US car magazine's have put it in the high 20's range for the base model.

Looked at the uk site. I'm a bit surprised how few color choices there are. Not one that I'm excited about.

+1. No greens or silvers, and where's that blue interior I've seen in so many press photos?
