The wife and I picked up our new 2006 Hyper Blue Metallic 6 speed Cooper S Hatch Back in Orlando last week. Can't stop smiling, it's a blast! Looking to meet other owners in this area, especially those who enjoy working on their cars and have some knowledge on how things come apart for under dash access. I want to hard wire the connections for my GARMIN GPS and add a couple of additional 12 V sockets for things like charging cell phone and powering XM radio.

By way of introduction I am a retired senior manufacturing engineer, ride and maintain my BMW K1200LT motorcycle when I'm not driving the MINI. I'm also a Motorcycle Safety Foundation Instructor and work part time in that field for a local school.
