I am in Omaha and have been working on restoring an '88 MR2 n/a, had an '86 when I was younger and thought it might do the trick (for aging, that is), but NO, I had to start looking at MCS and now I am hooked---it was just an innocent test drive!
Looking at used MINI's, no mods necessary
I am hoping to make one mine in the next few weeks
