Invisible MINI

Have any of you noticed this phenomenon? Some of you may have to think waaay back, but before I wanted a Mini, I never really noticed Minis on the street. Now I see them everywhere!! Following me home, me folowing them home and always a different color! So many Minis that I never noticed before I was bitten by the Mini-bug. Also, Now that everyone at my work knows that I want a Mini and that I can't wait until delivery day, they have started seeing Minis, too! They'll come in the next day and tell me how mnay they saw and how they never really noticed them before. I just thought it was funny that this hasn't just happened to me but also to other people I know. Has it happened to you guys?

Hey, I don't know where you are based, but, it isn't Madison, WI! I don't see many around here, but, do have to admit I see more MINIs when I'm driving my other car (a turbolite PT Cruiser with a hand painted flame hood)!

hah yeha. i ddon't see much mini's when i'm driving but when i do,i give them a friendly wave and they wave back with a smile hahah

its nice to see mini's as many people drive it. each driver seems to be satisfied with what they are driving (even if its a handful) hahaha. its a unique car. and it'll stay like that. (appealing only to a few haha)

and i mostly see other mini's when i'm driving my mitsubishi montero :P

have a nice day!

This happened to me, my fiance, and her dad! LOL. I see them everywhere now! It's hilarious and i'm always waving to them like they are my friend and we are all in a cool club together... but they never seem to be thinking the same thing because i never get a wave back or they are never looking at me lol.

My most-recent experience with Baader-Meinhof has involved Pahrump, Nevada. I had never heard of the city (or at least I don't remember hearing about it) until the city played a big part in an episode of "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip".

After seeing that episode, my wife and I started see Pahrump *everywhere* - in movies, the news, other TV shows, even on this board. Assuming the city's been around for more than the last few months, I figure it must B-M Phenomenon, and my brain has been "trained" as a result to notice references to "Pahrump, Nevada".

i actually don't like it if i see people driving minis coz the reason i bought it is
that the exterior is unlike any other cars thus it stands out. coz i told myself since i was small, if ever i bought a car i want it to be different from the masses. but... now im a mini owner, im surprised that u have to wave to ur co mini owners. so i dunno if im makin a point im sleepy.

it's true! when I am driving the FJ cruiser, I see MINI's everywhere! When I'm in the MINI, I see maybe 1. Unless of course you're on the way to a MINI event or club dinner, then you see lots!

It's happened to one of my co-workers. He's mentioned that ever since I became a MINI owner, he and his wife have started to take notice of other MINIs on the road. In fact, he called me up from his cell phone the other day to describe his latest MINI encounter, a MINI with American flag graphics.

For me, I've always been conscious of seeing other MINIs on the road, but now that I drive one, I've submitted completely to the waving phenomenon. Even when I'm not in my MINI I feel compelled to wave (it's usually accompanied by an "ooh! MINI!" squee) even though the wavee might be confused as to why I'm waving...

You know, that's happened to me with just about every other car I've owned (except maybe a Corvette). With the MINI, it's different. I always notice MINIs. They're just that unique!

I'm seeing more and more everyday, before I just never noticed them, but now I'm obsessed.

I didn't even know what a MINI was until 1 year ago. Once I was struck by the bug, I was also infected with MINIdar and can "sense" one within a mile proximity in any direction.

Thanks for some good reading. It occasionally happens with me, but never in association with gambling.

LOL...I just passed one as I turned into the driveway today. I see this particular one when I'm not in the MINI, so it was cool to see him today in the MINI. Now, if I just saw him in a parking lot so I could ask him about his mods, that would be cool!

I noticed them before but not like I have since I placed my order and got my MINI. My 4 year old screams out MINI whenever he sees one and even if he goes on a ride with someone else will tell me how many he saw, whether they were Cooper's or S', the body and roof color. With 2 dealerships here in ATL we have pretty good coverage!

I saw them all over the place when I was waiting to go buy mine. Now that I drive in it everyday, I see maybe one, or two max and I do a LOT of driving!

Oh and I have yet to have the other MINI driver wave back. Tsk tsk.

I see at least 10 a day. Yesterday on the freeway two MCS were convoying at 80 MPH having fun and I cannot wait for mine to get here...

Yeah!! Now that I've decided to take the plunge, I see them everywhere. I plan on ordering right before I leave town on a two- month business trip. That way the waiting won't be so bad AND I won't see a lot of MINIs where I'm going

Some of us are'nt being unfriendly when we don't wave back, just more introverted - in our little cocoon.
