I just stopped in to make an intro, I ordered my wife a pw/b mini w/a6 on Monday. I have a production (?) no. but that's it for now. I'm a car guy and while the mini isn't exactly my cup of tea, I agree it's a great car with good value. We are looking forward to it's arrival hopefully within a couple of months.

 

I'd like to pretend you didn't say that. But I can't.

Since you're new around here and obviously didn't know any better, I'm going to sleep on it for a few days to decide if I can let that slide by without serious repurcussions.

But beware, Mister. I've got my eye on you.

 

Hopefully it'll grow on you. Maybe you'll want one of your own (or your wife will let you drive hers).

I agree. I really do think it's an awesome car. We struggled for weeks with the options. Most are appearance & comfort (hey it's her car!). Personally I would have gotten an S and gave up the auto, leather, etc...
Funny thing is, she doesn't even know I ordered it. I told her we should look at HHRs first I don't know how long I'll be able to keep it a surprise doubtfully until it gets here but I hope so.

Where in TX? Smack in the middle between Spring, The Woodlands, and Tomball.

MINI's may not be your cup of tea now, but watch out! You might get bitten by the bug. Each time I let my boyfriend drive mine, he makes more and more comments about how, "I wouldn't mind having one of these for myself someday". He wasn't that interested in them while I was obsessing before I got mine, and he even claims he's sick of driving a manual every time he gets out of his truck (my MC is manual), but loves driving the MINI.

 

OK, then! As stated in other threads, check out HMMS! We are even having a meeting next Saturday, but that might give away the suprise, huh?

The car is still a surprise, she must have asked me a hundred times this weekend if I had ordered it yet and she refused to go look @ HHRs . I don't think I can put it off until delivery but maybe for long enough she'll be surprised when it shows up "early". This is my baby:

We also have a big 4x4 chevy truck. I don't compare the two, nor will I compare the Mini to the Goat. Lets just say when the Mini arrives, the fleet will be complete.
