I have been lurching for a few years now, and now it's time to "belong".
I fell in love with the new Mini's the 1st time I saw one cruising around. Since then I have been "horny" to get one. May 2005 was the 1st time I took out a "S" for test drive (Calgary, Alberta). HUGE mistake!!! Then many months after that, life changed quickly and the Mini dissappeared from my mind. Then March 2006, Mini came back into mind. So I took both the Coop and the S for a drive (Whitby, Ontario), another mistake! Then once again, another big life change!!
So, here I am back in Calgary, Alberta. Life is good, job is good, money is great, etc.... Then I remembered that the 2007 Mini's were coming early this year. Back onto mini.ca to check it out. Feb.15th was our release date.
So Feb. 15th came along, and I was dissppointed that they weren't online yet (the morning), it was when I was driving to a job when I noticed in front of me, in the opposite lane. An 18 wheeler with nothing but NEW 2007 MINI'S!!! I totally flipped out and thougth I might get in an accident!! YAY, I was the 1st to see the new mini's. Well I got home that night,and quickly hopped back on mini.ca.
Right to cooper S, quickly config'ed my dream mini. Lightning Blue, black bonnet, premium package, blk cloth. WOW, the price has dropped!!! I can afford that!! Then the mind started to think really hard.
Ok, I have a company vehicle, I fill up my current car once every 3-4 weeks and put less than 8000kms/year!! Why do I need a new car??
Well, I pretty much lived on mini.ca for the next few days. Went to the dealership and checked them out in the dungy basement storage. Damn!!
Then, I clicked Sterling Silver, black bonnet. Oohhhhhh, sexy! Then I made the mistake on clicking, Redwood Lounge leather. There she was, standing in front of me, looking at me, with love in her eyes!! Sold.
Saturday February 24th. I put my down payment on her. It was the easiest sale Mike has ever had.
She hasnt gotten a name yet, but it's in the works. But she is as follows,
2007 Mini Cooper S
Sterling Silver
Black Bonnet & Roof/mirror
Redwood Lounge leather
Piano Black Gloss
Chrome Package
Premium Package
LSD
She is a canadian version, so it come with tons of standard stock features.

Thanks everybody. My MA told me that I should expect my Mini the end of May. I would like it now, but I cant afford it now and I can in May. So the wait is fine by me. Either way. Damn, I am excited!

Nam is online all the time everyday. I already know what mod's I am going to do with her! I actually bought a radar detector (RX65) last week solely for my Mini. hehe. On my test drive on saturday, well, I went 205kms on a 80kms road. That's the fastest I have ever been in a car. hehe.
She will be a fun ride indeed!
