What are the items that can be coded by dealer?

When you take a delivery of a new cooper, a number of posts throughout the board have listed that there are a number of items that can be programmed by the dealer, i.e., remote controlled drop of the top on a convertible from outside the car, etc.

Is there one definitive list of what these are so I can make the decisions in advance and just hand them to the dealer when taking delivery (or better yet, let them know prior to so they can be programmed without me waiting?) I don't want to rely on the dealer "knowing" all of these or not asking me because they may not think some program or other is important.

Much appreciated.

I had this saved on my computer. I think I copied it from a post on MINI2.

I have this activated. My car auto-locks at 10mph, and auto-unlocks when I turn the key to position 0. I basically don't have to touch my locks at all.

This output was from my 04MCS US market with CAR & Key MEMORY M36.0. Naturally, these options can very from model to model so your MINI may have a different level and completely different options. What I would like to emphasize here, other than I am a obstinate SOB is that many things are possible to change that your dealership may not be informed about. Don't give up. If someone posts that something works on their MINI and your dealership (as was my case) said it can't be done, push. Find another dealer with more information. Apparently, not all MINI dealerships have the same training.[/FONT]

On the bottom of your list you ask MPG (us) MPG (uk). there is a difference-- 1 US Gal= .832 Uk Gal. or I Uk Gal= 1.200 US Gal. So therefore the MPG rating will be different by comparison.

Keep in mind that the list has changed somewhat over time. For instance, the option to unlock both doors and the boot with a single press on the remote is no longer available. Also, the maximum time limit for the "Follw me Home" lighting is now 40 seconds or so, down from a previous maximum on 90 seconds.

I haven't seen an updated list from any official sources, though. Even my service advisor was unaware that single-press unlock was no longer an option until they tried to code my car (September-build 2006) for it.
