Who has high mileage on their Mini?

Hi my name is Shane and I am new to the forum. I am in the market for a new MCS in the near future. I just need to know that these cars are still good reliable vehicles at high miles. Anyone with super high miles, please post your problems along the way. I currently own a 2003 honda Element with 115k and it has been a great vehicle that I want to keep, but it is a bit lonely in the driveway, she needs a Mini to sleep next to at night. Just need a little reasurance because I like to put 200k + to get my $$ worth.

Sure, 100,000 miles is fine. Just got to make them mostly highway miles and do the required scheduled maintenance like any other car.

I don't see a problem with a 2003-2005 high mileage MCS for you.
Check out the previous owner and see how smoothly he or she can drive.
This is especially important for wear on clutch and brakes.

MINIs are meant to be driven.

Working on 141K miles on my '03MC. Except for warranty stuff, not a problem at all for almost the last 100K miles.

If you are looking at an MCS, keep in mind that the supercharger is only rated to about 120K-150K miles. The unit is sealed so there is no way to replace the oil.

Still driving my 02 MC. Good mileage and no major problems. It just turned at 40,000 miles.
