Technically, my second post. Been here, lurking, for so long I forgot that I never actually *MADE* a 1st post. D'oh!
Located somewhere in the north Georgia mountains, I tour around with one of the LAST 2002 models off the line. MC, BRG/W, with no sunroof, sport package, runflats, BRG dash panels, green- & blue-lit dash, 2 sets of Rally lights, rear fogs, body-color grille and boot handle (a la an MCS; I dislike chrome!), HU replaced with an Empeg. odometer is now past 150k miles. I have the highest non-commercial mileage either local (Atlanta) dealer has, and second-highest overall.
(Yeah, it's something I'm proud of!)
As far as issues go, I've been both lucky and unlucky. Lucky in the fact that most of the issues that other 2002 owners have had, I have not. My first windshield lasted until about 2 months ago, when an unfortunate time/space collision occurred between my windshield and road debris. (In other words, both tried to occupy the same space and time.) However, unfortunately, I'm on my second transmission and third clutch. After the first clutch was replaced, a dealer somehow ruined my transmission. Then, shortly after the new transmission, the clutch was gone again. (I don't drive *that* badly!!)
Other than that, I'm still motoring, and loving it.
