Hi. I'm new to the boards. I currently don't own a Mini yet for I am using this board to do a lot of research. I want to get a brand new MCS. The thing is, I want to get an 06 and not the 07. I would like to pick the options myself so it doesn't get too pricey. So my question is how much longer do I have before the 07's arrive? I was planning on getting it early next summer.

 

I think '06 ordering is already gone, no?

Ordering for 06s ended a couple of weeks ago. There are still plenty of new 06s on dealer lots and many in the pipeline. All is not lost.
It will take some searching, but the MINI you want is probably available.

There are still quite a few in the pipeline but ordering is over. I originally had went to the dealer a day late but was able to order a car due to a late allotmant to the dealer. 2 days later I got a call that I was out of luck.

My MA and I went over everything I was looking for too see if there anythig coming. I eneded up having to give up 2 options (convinience package - apparantly rare, and chrome line interior) but was able to get the color I wanted.

If you want an '06 I would hit your dealer now to see what you can get. Otherwisw I have noticed that there are quite a few '06's that show up used with low miles. I would guess more than anything they are impulse buys that are not fully planned for.

BTW, my PW brethern, I have not forgot about you and joining the peerage, just keep getting sidetracked.

 

Last I knew my dealer in Portland has alot of cars allocated to them without names if your wanting an 06 still.
