Hmmmm....so it's Sunday and you pick up you MINI Thursday?? Yes, my friend, you do have a problem. First...don't expect too much of yourself. You may not sleep much, your apetite may be affected, you may have dizzy spells...fine, just go with it. There is nothing you can do about that. About all I can say is:
1) Hang out on NAM. Be obnoxious. You're a soon-to-be owner, most of us understand the strange brand of neurosis at work. We will take pity. Join the Hyper Blue Club. Join MMC. Explore OT. Anything to survive.
2) If you insist on buying mods, why not kill time by researching them? Start sensibly....a shorty antenna, some swag. Easy stuff. Anything more than that and you may want some seat time in your MINI to really see where you (and/or it) want to go.
3) Watch The Italian Job every day. Kills time...that's all. Of course, there is Charlize. Don't forget the extra features, she's in those, too.
4) Visit your MINI at the dealer. Maybe you can sneak some pre-delivery pics. You may/will cherish these someday. (edit: nevermind, I see you've got this one amply covered.
)
5) Somewhat related....start a scrapbook for all your delivery paperwork, pics, and associated mementos.
6) Create a NAM sig for your new MINI. That can be fun.
7) Sadly, at this point a local club won't be much help since they tend to do stuff on the weekend. Maybe there's a Happy Hour or something you can get to.
8) If you must shop and mods are not your thing (initially), go for the car washing/detailing stuff. Again, some research will save you money, but you will put this stuff to work immediately, so getting a good little kit together may be a sound investment of your time.
Well that's my 2 cents. Trying to keep you from going over to the dark side....scary stuff over there....stuff involving Photoshop, diecast, and the like.
Congrats and speedy delivery!!!

Congrats your wait is almost over. Then you can be out motoring around with that big smile onbe your face. Well at least I hear about that. Mine will be here soon, I hope, at the West Coast VDC today. So I am envious of you and happy that you are not waiting.
Happy Motoring, the pictures look good.
